Top Couple Friendly Hotels in Yangzhou

An excellent hotel! Great location, tucked away in a quiet spot near Dongguan Street. The environment is fantastic, with a beautiful garden-style courtyard that feels like an old mansion. The service is top-notch, and the butler was incredibly warm and attentive. There are many attractions nearby, including Xiao Qin Huai River, Ge Garden, the former residence of ***, Siwang Pavilion, and the famous Yechun restaurant. You can easily rent an electric scooter to visit Slender West Lake and Daming Temple. Yangzhou is a historic city that slowly reveals its charm, leaving a lasting impression. My stay at the Late Qing Dynasty Zhenyuan truly allowed me to experience the understated beauty and profound historical character of this ancient city.

The hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot. Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper. It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. I didn't take many photos, just one of the fragrant flowers in the lobby. I've included two photos of He Garden just to add a few more.

We were a family of three, and I specifically chose a room with a 1.5-meter bed plus a slightly smaller one, which made for a very spacious sleep. The pillows were a bit high; it would have been even better if there were options for pillows of different heights. Overall, the hotel's recreational environment is great for kids, with animal feeding and an outdoor swimming pool. In the evening, we went to the hot springs, which had many pools and a nice ambiance, although the fish spa, which the kids loved most, cost extra. If you want to visit Slender West Lake, it's very convenient from here. We also drove a short distance to a highly recommended restaurant online called Da Mao. If you're traveling with children and just want to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings, it's a relaxing choice.

Fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Slender West Lake, and directly across from MixC shopping mall. There are many other malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is superb – they're always ready to help. Great value for money; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

The lobby manager was very attentive and able to answer questions immediately. Even with a large crowd during check-in, they managed to arrange everything efficiently – a real thumbs up! I've never seen a hotel lobby with so many complimentary drinks before – cold lemonade, hot hibiscus tea, and unlimited freshly ground coffee. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to Dongguan Street and the South Gate of Slender West Lake. There are also many popular eateries nearby. Plus, it's rare to find a hotel with its own indoor parking. The family room was a bit small, but the bathroom was very spacious and even had a bathtub and a Dyson hairdryer. There was a cute little tent and a rocking horse, and the snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge were replenished daily, with unlimited bottled water. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Even though it was busy during the summer holidays, everything was restocked promptly. I especially loved their baozi (steamed buns) – the tofu skin buns, vegetable buns, and meat buns all tasted freshly made. The noodle chef was incredibly patient, remembering everyone's special requests and working quickly. The self-service laundry gets busy, so you might have to wait for a spot. Overall, it's a hotel with excellent value for money.

The hotel service was polite and thoughtful, check-in was efficient, and the room was clean and tidy. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary, and turndown service included a free drink with a strong local Yangzhou flavor. However, there were two minor drawbacks: First, the pillows weren't very comfortable; they lacked support, leading to a stiff neck after a while, and even swapping them out didn't help much. Second, the TV signal in the room was unstable, occasionally buffering and affecting the viewing experience a bit. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The Ying賓館 is still a highly recommended hotel when visiting Yangzhou, with its beautiful garden environment and excellent location. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou.

The owner was very welcoming and sent recommendations for local restaurants with a long history and nearby attractions upon check-in. He was always there whenever I left or returned, always offering a warm greeting. The B&B is located right on Dongguan Street, very close to the action, which greatly enhanced my experience!

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

Facilities: There is an air purifier in the middle of the two rooms in the super in place. The bathtub in the room, the table, the air purifier, the projector, let alone the superb. I have lived in so many hotels. The three sides are really the ceiling! ! ! Hygienic: super clean, all details are cleaned in place Environment: Surrounded by the downtown area, there are food and play. It is difficult to park there, but the hotel has its own parking lot. It is really key! ! And there are kittens in the hotel. Super handsome. When you see people, you will come. Service: We stayed at night. The front desk lady was very good. She also took me to park the car in the parking lot. Various problems will be solved as soon as possible. The emotional value is full.

The valet parking service was quite good. The location is convenient for getting to several famous attractions by taxi. However, the front desk service was not proactive. I was exhausted after driving off the highway and spent 30-40 minutes trying to book on Marriott Bonvoy without success. No one offered any guidance or help. The next day, with rain in the forecast, I wanted to borrow an umbrella, but the front desk manager insisted I pay a deposit! The service attitude felt quite rigid. The air conditioning wasn't very effective; I felt hot under the duvet at night. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could hear people in the next room as if they were in mine. Overall, the room's cleanliness was good, and I plugged in an electronic mosquito repellent, but I still got two very itchy insect bites on my arm. I went to breakfast right when it opened, but the food was a bit cold and the taste was very mediocre; there wasn't a single good dish. The fried rice was particularly disappointing, and the pink pastry had a tough crust and a filling that tasted like processed ingredients. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect, and the toothbrush head was too wide to use comfortably.
