A reasonably priced hotel [by Rome standards!] and in a relatively good location [although not as central as you may be led to believe], surrounded by an array of good restaurants. Do not look for the hotel by its name ... look for the door number. On arrival it took a couple of minutes to figure it out as there is no signage or hotel name on the door [there are 3 or more hotel names which are all within the same block, but the Sallustio is not displayed anywhere, not even inside or at the elevator [this is the type of property where sort of each floor is a different hotel]. Termini Station is a few blocks away and less than 10min walk. Trevi/Spanish Steps/Corso etc.... circa 20 - 30mins walk depends on where you're heading to, but the bus stop is right around the corner, so easy if you're not up for the walk! Staff very good, polite and helpful. The room is basic as can be, but clean and comfortable enough for our 3 night stay. Could do with a bit of updating .... but again if, like us, you don't like to spend too much time in the hotel room, particularly in a city like Rome, you will find this "okay". You simply have a bed, tv, a/c and ensuite. Shower is a fixed overhead [so if the ladies have just been to the hairdressers' ... hmm let's say its not ideal] ... but there was a blow dryer :)
