Really nice room. Refined, tastefully furnished. Thorough cleaning. Small mix-up on booking the second night resolved in a very short time with great professionalism by the staff. Stefania and Valeria were very kind and polite. They met us for everything and guided us in everything. Even in choosing refreshment places. Easy to find, recommended for those who have to go to the Olympic stadium. 20 minute walk. Close to the Vatican museums. What can I say, thank you for everything. We will definitely be back.

I have stayed here 4 times in the last 3 months visiting my daughter who was studying abroad. New Design was the perfect place for my family and I! We had two rooms and the accommodations were so comfortable, extremely clean and perfect location! Stefania and Valeria were so helpful and extremely an accommodating! They booked car services for us, made restaurant recommendations and were extremely quick with responding! I would highly recommend staying here! We look forward to hopefully returning in the future!

I found this hidden gem located in the Prati neighborhood of Rome. Very quiet neighborhood with many cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Stefania and her staff did an amazing job. Room was very cozy. Thanks for everything and I hope I get the opportunity to visit again.

*Pros* - Good location, 10 minutes from Vatican. Close to restaurants and cafes and metro station. - Spotlessly clean. Really, you could eat your dinner off the floor. Impeccable. - Nicely designed room - Very comfortable beds, including bunk beds for kids - Great communication from the owners, who recommended local places to eat. The waned us about building works before we arrived but there was no noise we could hear. *Cons* Loses a point for... - Access was a bit of a faff, with 3 codes to remember to get to your door. Make sure you don't forget anything. - A bit impersonal. We did self check-in and didn't see anyone until we had to pay the city tax at the end (might not be a con for some people) - Small for a family of 4. We had weekend bags so it was OK but if you're coming from the US and have a lot of luggage you'll struggle to store it with the bunk beds out. - Value for money. Overall, very good but I did't totally love it.

The property could not be more lovely, nor could the hosts, but the tragic fact is that the entire building turns off their heat from 22:00 to 12:00 the next day, precisely the time you would be in it. Since I didn't pay a high price the first week of February, I didn't make a big issue out of it at the time, but usually this hotel is not cheap. DO NOT STAY HERE IN THE WINTER. It was 0° Celsius outside (32° Fahrenheit) all night long. It is my guess the temperature in the room dropped below 60°. I was with a friend who had her own room. Her room was VERY cold in the morning. I kept mine a little warmer by waving some of the bathroom heat into the room. The electric "towel warmer" style heater in the bathroom could be used, as it is not powered by the main furnace of the building. But this heat doesn't make its way into the main room very well. I had to heat up my room by using the wall hairdryer a little. The reason there is no heat is (we were told) because the condominium organization decided to implement a rule that would turn off the heat in the entire building. The very kind host explained to me that she tried to get an exemption from the rule, but to no avail. I believe it has something to do with the Rome mayor implementing a drastic energy saving protocol. But none of the other Rome and Italy hotels I stayed at had no heat, or even reduced heat. To reiterate, the heat was not reduced. It was OFF for 14 hours. That includes the entire night and morning. This is unacceptable. It was very cold outside the entire time I was in Italy last week. 32 degrees the entire night. And not warm during the day. I would not stay at this hotel in the winter. Stay elsewhere. Use this lovely hotel only for spring and summer. THERE IS NO HEAT IN THE WINTER for 14 HOURS. Call first to find out what the current heating status is. They are terrific people there, unfortunately subjected to a severe condo regulation. However, they did not warn us in advance (or at any time until I inquired about it.) My friend booked three nights and had to leave after the first night. She was so disillusioned with Rome, she took the first high speed train to Rome she could. This brings up the question: is TURNING OFF heat when it is 32° Fahrenheit outside even LEGAL? Is it against health regulations? Also, if you don't check in during the earlier part of the day, you will have no chance to heat your room before the heat goes off. This is exactly what happened to me. And I wasn't warned in advance, nor is there mention on the website; understandably so, because who would stay in a hotel with no heat in the middle of winter in Rome? It puts the hotel owners in a difficult position. Still, I would have preferred transparency. However, the kind host did what she could to improve the situation at the time by offering additional blankets and an explanation of the unfortunate new rule. I feel bad I had to write this, because it's not the fault of the hotel, but I feel people

Structural jewel. .Attention to details. Brand new and well-kept room. A stone's throw from the Ottaviano stop in a super quiet area. The plus given by Stefania ...really kind and caring. When people make the difference and Stefania definitely does.Congratulations!!Deserved 10!
