Let's start by saying that we had the check-in agreed with the owner on WhatsApp (where he contacted me without introducing himself and without using courteous manners) at 11am in the structure. Due to traffic we were half an hour late. Once we arrived at the building (one entrance, three staircases, and 70 interiors) no one had told us where the rooms were or how to get there. So we contact the owner and, after half an hour of waiting under the building without an answer, he tells us that he isn't there, and that he was there at 11 but since we were late he had left and would be back 'later'. And so far everything was "ok", we also apologized for the delay but still found it strange. So it's 2pm (fortunately we were in the car and were able to leave our luggage there, otherwise we would wander around Rome for 2 hours (5 in the end) with everything behind us. He writes to us to go to the facility, stairway B (of which I attach photos). Once we arrive upstairs, we find the owner in what would have been the breakfast room (there are no breakfasts). He welcomes us without introducing himself again (not necessary, just courtesy). He doesn't apologize for the 3 hour wait, he gives us the key (room 5, of which I attach photos) and finally he asks us for the money, cash, no receipt, no invoice. And here the worst begins, because the room was not ready, the lady had yet to arrive to clean it the owner would have been "ready" around 4pm, which in the end would be 5pm. "Ready", yes, because the room was unpresentable, verbally glossing over everything disgusting, slimy and dirty I saw in it room/structure, we arrive the following morning. The climax we leave the room at 9, (obviously no breakfast which is mentioned in the room rules where it is utopianly served from 8.30 to 9.30), leaving dirty towels. on the ground, still damp and broken (yes, they gave them to us broken)... convinced that the desire to have more clean ones was clear. When we return we find them perched on the desk chair, always them, always dirty and always damp. Not one different, not one more. We wrote to the owner, he told us that we had to communicate it first if we wanted a change of towels (absurd)...or at least we had to leave them on the floor. Once he told us that we had done the same thing, clearly embarrassed, he insisted on bringing us more. So he showed up at the door with two towels, probably taken from his sofa at home, more beach towels than anything else... one red, one blue, because it's not customary to use white ones in holiday facilities... I advise against anyone from stay here, rather look for a better offer or invest your money better in certainly more deserving locations. Only the city you are in and the amount of tourists it attracts saves you, incompetents! Say thanks to Rome.
