stayed one night with 2 kids (2 and 5 years old) Pros: Decent breakfast Free parking Indoor playground, great for rainy or cold days Outdoor playground with plenty of activities, kids loved it Room was spacious Free public transportation to Lucerne (20-minute ride) Clean rooms and helpful staff Cons: Beds were too small for 4 people Room was too hot despite cold weather outside, no AC for summer Bathroom lock was tricky, causing issues with kids Price was a bit high for the overall experience

I dropped hotel's small night stand while I was moving my luggage. It was broken and reported to hotel's staff. After talking to big boss, she asked CHF25(IKEA's price: CHF4.95) at first and I told her 5 times are too much. After this, she asked CHF10 and finally I paid CHF5. This is not the matter of money but the mstter of attitude. I used this hotel in December 2014 with a good memory but now gone with the wind.

Great hotel for a family stay, there is an indoor playroom where children can have fun on a climbing wall and on a multi-storey structure. Outside, a large park with a small train circuit (fee payable) and a large play area. The room (modern) is spacious and the bunk bed was a hit with the children. The restaurant is really good and there is a family atmosphere, note that on Sundays it is closed and there is not much around. The hotel does not have a charging station for cars but it is easy to find one 5 minutes walk away in an underground station

Not a great experience. Chose this hotel as a functional stopover and I guess it delivered but the staff weren’t too welcoming and everything seemed a bit too inconvenient for them. The room was clean however so that’s a positive.

The hotel is very pleasant with children, the playground is large, there is something for everyone. Too bad the little train only runs on Sundays. The room on the road side is unfortunately very noisy and of course impossible to sleep with the windows closed with 4 people in a room.

My review was from May 2023. I find it unbelievable that this restaurant, instead of learning from my review and other reviews and making changes, simply sugarcoats every criticism. There is a saying that... turns gold into gold.

Ideal restaurant for families with children! Great indoor play area, which you can hardly get the children out of ;-) Plus a huge outdoor playground with a children's train (no train in winter). Good food, including vegetarian/vegan options. Large children's menu with healthy options too

Large and quiet room. Kind and attentive staff. Excellent quality dinner, prices in line with Switzerland which is on average more expensive than neighboring countries. If I have to find a note I would enrich the breakfast choice and "update" the bathrooms. Super children's area both indoors and outdoors.
