My family of 4 stayed here at the end of October for 2 nights. My children are 6 and 9 and we managed to get very reasonable flights and the cabin was also great value. We hired a car and drove to the cabin from the airport. Car hire worked out cheaper than taxis to and from the airport and it allowed us the freedom to explore. I would really recommend hiring a car if you are staying here as you will probably need to make a trip to the supermarket and the Santa village, both are less than 15 minutes drive from the cabin. The cabin was very impressive on arrival. Really spacious and spotless clean. Our cabin slept 6, had 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a lovely porch outside. The log fire in the living room was so nice and we were really lucky as it snowed while we were there. There are lots of walking trails beside the cabin and my family loved exploring the woods in the snow. A family Trip to Lapland can be very expensive so having the option of just playing in the snow right by the cabin is great. Everything at the Santa Village has a price but staying here allowed us to build a snow man outside the cabin, explore the woods, cook a meal and enjoy it together. I would really recommend this place and I hope to return again.

We flew there with LuxairTours for 5 days. The chalet is very comfortable and you feel like you are in a beautiful old ski hut! In the morning and evening you could go to the restaurant (200m), where you were served a delicious buffet where you could choose what you wanted to eat! The chalet has 6 beds and two bathrooms, with a sauna and a kitchen. There are also two showers. Wood for the fireplace is also provided in the room next door. A staircase leads up to a bathroom and the other 4 beds. There was also a closet where you could put your clothes to dry, a kind of drying cabinet! You had to go and buy food for the kitchen yourself. In general, the chalet was very clean and pleasant for the 5 days.

Excellent accommodation, modern and spotlessly clean. Dishwasher, washing machine,dryer press and sauna . Gorgeous location just beside the winter trials in a forested area but a quick drive into the city. Sledges available for kids. Would stay again

Beautiful cottage, very clean and complete with everything: sauna, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, dishes, oven...really everything! Ideal for 2 couples of friends - also enough for 6 people (2 separate bedrooms and 2 additional beds in the mezzanine). A few km from the centre, it is characteristic and convenient at the same time but, to reach it, you need a private vehicle or a taxi.

Amazing chalets with fireplace and beautiful forest at your doorstep. The place was spotless clean, super cozy and had everything that we needed. The kitchen is well equipped. You will be able to do walks through the Winter Trials which are lighten up so you can go up to the Observatory Tower and have a fire there when it's pitch dark. Kids can sledge outside the cottage. There is a bus stop near by and the place is not super remote but I would say get a car when booking this place.

I don’t no where to begin! :( hard earned money for over 2.5 years to literally be shattered in a heartbeat. Please do not visit Christmas cottages in Finland. What an absolute shameful place to be. This was meant to be a once in a life opportunity/holiday and it’s been ruined completely. TUI them selfs sell this holiday like it’s magical, the place to be, it’s got everything there, it’s unbelievable, eyes ping open every minute of every day. It’s FAR from this!!!! It’s horrible, the staff are RUDE!!!! Wont do anything for you, the chalets themself are utterly disgusting the bedding’s got dirt mashed into them. The mattress I wouldn’t allow an animals to sleep on them. I am absolutely heartbroken that we’ve spent this amount of money on absolutely nothing. Please do not come here with your kids they will be absolutely gutted. :(

Great cabin in an idyllic location in the forest on Ounasvaara hill. Away from the hustle and bustle but super close to the city, about 2 or 3 km. It is super well equipped, it has everything you need to spend a few days. The fireplace is wonderful and gets so hot that we even had to turn off the heating when it was -24 degrees outside. Everything very clean and very cozy. The beautiful exteriors, with many sleds that the children have a great time with and beautiful trails to walk. One afternoon we walked to the supermarket, which was about a half hour walk away. We stayed 4 nights and we would have stayed longer... highly recommended!
