We stayed 3 nights spread out over our week in Rov. Each time check in was a breeze, each room was clean, warm, comfortable and the wet room had lashing of hot water. Perfect after a busy day of activities. The breakfast was exceptional for the price. Try the buttery porridge it’s amazing and I’m 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Boiled eggs,meats, cheese, yoghurt and the best bread for toasting. There is even a kitchen for guests to make their own meals and a funky lounge area. And not forgetting the large sauna. All in this is the perfect base for a holiday,we even used the underground car park. Highly recommend this excellent place and it’s friendly staff

The room offered sufficient space, the bathroom was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a large variety of food and drinks. The sauna is also very recommandable. The location is central. There is a shopping mall just across the street, local and long distance bus stops are nearby. Personnel was very friendly and supportive.

Restaurant: The breakfast is good, with a variety of varieties, but the European gourmet bread is relatively poor here, and there are not many options for dinner. When I went, there were only three types of fish, chicken, and vegetarian, so I didn't eat it. Facilities: Disappointing, the wifi is very poor, often can't receive it, it can be used as no wifi. It's super inconvenient, even the Greater China Go bought in Hong Kong can't receive the Internet, it should be a problem with the location. I booked a lakeside room type, and the private sauna room is so small, I think it is only enough for 1 person, and there is not enough space for 2 people, it is really shocking! Totally unexpected for such a facility for such a price. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is its beautiful scenery, but the price/performance ratio is extremely low. 

The first time I stayed at this hotel, I feel very good. It is very close to the bus station to Santa Claus Village and the airport (opposite the hotel entrance). The hotel has a dedicated luggage storage room, which is convenient for leaving the store in advance. Recommended!

The kitchen is very well equipped, the living room and dining room are comfortable, and the sauna is also great. Parking is convenient, facing a big river, the summer scenery should be super beautiful. Two kilometers away from the Dachao market, it is very suitable for self-driving. I hope the bed will be more perfect after upgrading. Looking forward to staying next time.

Stayed at Arctic Light Hotel during a conference in Rovaniemi. Got a fairly small top-floor room with a roof window (hence, no view but of the late-summer sky). I think this room was slightly cheaper than a regular room. It was located close to an elevator, which I could hear but it did not bother me. The room was very clean, nice and cozy - and a good place to retreat back to after long conference days. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good selection of food, yogurts, cakes and coffee. The only downside was getting a thin orange juice from a machine. Fresh juice would have been more appropriate among all the other good food. The two gentlemen at the reception desk, Mark and Max, had a very pleasant manner and provided excellent service and advice. The hotel itself, located in the old city hall, is brilliant and good looking and beautifully designed. Definitely a place to recommend!

I used it as a couple in December 2022. It is located about 5 minutes on foot from the k supermarket in the city center, and is in the opposite direction from the area where restaurants are gathered. Although it was the winter season, the sidewalks were cleanly cleared of snow, and after getting off the bus in front of the supermarket, you could walk to the hotel while rolling your carry-on bag. Not far enough to take a taxi. There are many houses around and it is quiet. I didn't use it, but there seems to be a sauna. Breakfast was delicious. It was a general menu such as bread, ham, cheese, salad, yogurt. The room was clean, but there was no safe. There is no partition between the shower and the toilet in the bathroom, so the toilet gets soaked when you take a shower. Overall, it is a recommended hotel.

This four-star hotel, located in the heart of the city, promised a charming experience but revealed some failures. Positive aspects: 1. **Central location **: Located in the centre of Rovaniemi, the hotel offers easy access to various local attractions. Negative aspects: 1. **Repeat and disorganized breakfast**: The breakfast offer was not changed, making it monotonous throughout the stay. In addition, the lack of organization and cleaning at the tables was noticeable. Although we were asked to choose a breakfast time, there was no effective control, resulting in confusion and disorder in the buffet. 2. **Lack of cleaning and comfort in the room**: lack of cream in the bathroom and lack of cleaning of the 3. **Insufficient accommodation for clothes**: The biggest difficulty was the absence of an adequate clothes in the room, especially challenging for a family of four people with winter clothes The hotel was located in the hotel, and the breakfast was not organised in the room. in the cleaning and accommodation of the rooms compromise the experience of stay. I would recommend to the hotel managers to review these aspects to ensure that future guests have a more pleasant and comfortable experience.

We stayed at Arctic City Hotel on mid-March for 3 nights. Our room was a style double room on the 3rd floor with street view. The hotel's location, at the very center of Rovaniemi, is undoubtedly great. Everything one might need was in walking distance. All tour operators, shopping centers, restaurants, cafe, supermarkets and bus stations (including the bus station for Santa's Village) were literally on your doorstep. Even the central railway station, the interurban bus station and the Arcticum were just 10min away on foot even with snow. You could even walk to the observation tower of the Ounasvaara Fell, following a great path through the snowy forest (aprox. 30 min). The room was clean and warm, not too large but comfortable for a couple, with a quite comfortable bed and an interesting deco. However, the bathroom was not spacious and the shower tube was tiny. Moreover, the shower glass panels should be replaced or better set-up since the floor got soaking wet when we had a shower. The breakfast was very tasty, with plenty of food and very well served in the hotel's quite cozy restaurant. The staff was super friendly and super helpful, both in the reception and the restaurant! To sum up, the owners of this hotel should consider some refurbishment of the rooms and definitely the bathrooms, in order to meet one's expectations from a 4-star hotel and for a better value-for-money rate. Its great pros are the location, the staff and the breakfast. Despite the small bathroom, we really enjoyed our stay there and we would visit this hotel again.

The Santa Holidays Village hotel is great for families. Be careful with the reservations you make on Trip, we reserved a chalet for 2 adults and 2 children, arriving for check-in we were told that Trip only reserved for two adults and therefore the children must be paid extra. It is not serious for TRIP not to communicate the true price upon reservation. This site lacks transparency (it just notes a remark saying that additional fees may be charged by the hotel for children without telling you how much and especially without telling you that they have only booked for two people). So the worst thing is to have a room that is not even suitable for a family. At Santa Claus we had to pay 30€/night per child (fortunately we had booked a chalet so it was big enough for 4). We had the same experience in another hotel over the same period (apukka resort) which charged us €100 per night per child in an igloo, fortunately the igloo allocated to us could accommodate 2 children otherwise we would have been without the possibility of accommodating 4 of us.
