Monte Mulini Adults Exclusive Hotel by Maistra Collection

Excellent hotel and location. Short distance to the coastal path which is stunning, borrowed the bikes and ventured out for hours with little cafes along the way! Pleasant walk into Rovinj with many shops and restaurants. Downside was couldn’t always get a lounger by the pool there aren’t many. Not really acceptable. Maybe other people were coming from the Lone? Pool bar service was good and Mullini Beach service also very good. Breakfast OK, food from menu was served cold though? Cold poached egg so didn’t bother again just had the buffet. Asked for a high room but wasn’t available so bit disappointing as there was no view and based on what we had paid for 3 nights wasn’t a great outlook plus ants coming into room. Overall fab hotel.
Maistra Select Amarin Resort

A pleasant family resort with apartments and a campsite. The surroundings are nicely arranged, clean and maintained. The resort has 2 types of apartments, newer and older. We stayed in older apartments for 2+1 persons. The apartment is small and basically equipped with a small kitchen, a dining table and a bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with kitchen utensils (opener, cutter, etc.). Glasses, plates, forks, etc. are exactly for the number of people per apartment (in our case for 3 people). The beds are not comfortable, they need a new yogi. The balcony is large and spacious. The cleanliness of the apartment is very poor. The cleaners are constantly going around the apartments, but the cleanliness in the room is very, very bad. If we had at least a broom in our apartment, we could sweep yourself. The balcony was not swept even once during the whole week (we had a storm on the second day of our stay and it was like that until we left). Towels are changed as needed every day. Change of bed linen once a week. The staff is very polite and friendly, but not very dedicated to work (not all of them, of course). The resort has a restaurant that offers buffet breakfast and dinner. They offer a wide variety of food like cold food, front kitchen, fruits, desserts, etc. but the food offering is a bit boring as it only changes a little daily. The basis is chicken, potatoes and pizza (in different ways) - every day. Of course, you can also get soup, fish and other meat, pasta, etc. The food tastes like a canteen, tasteless and poorly prepared. My opinion is that the value/quality is very poor. There are few parking spaces next to the apartments, so cars park right on the green and next to the road - which is not allowed. A large number of parking spaces are located a short distance from the apartments. All bars in the resort are open until 19:00. After this hour, only the main bar under the restaurant remains open. Animation is organized there in the evenings. Getting a table requires patience and a quick ”jump” to the table. The animation for children is very good and there is a large offer (video games, mini golf, water animation, etc...) The animators are hardworking and resourceful. I think that for a resort with 4* and a rather high price of accommodation, the quality of the offer is very poor.

Rovinj Old Town
Our quaint apartment was impeccably clean and so well appointed. The fresh fruit, cereal, milk, cream and pasta ingredients were a five star touch. We created a delicious dinner and sipped on hot tea every morning with the windows open looking at the sea. What a view of the sea. Dennis our bell man escorted us to our unit from the taxi stand with ease and friendly Croatian style. The Angelo D'Oro staff at the hotel were also incredible and they manage this apartment with precision. The hotel is quite nice too. Our Rovinj experience was top notch thanks to Angelo D'Oro. Highly recommend Trevisol unit #3 right by an amazing all day chill hip cafe. Thanks again Dennis!!

Will definitely stay here again! -Extremely clean and neat; quiet, small boutique hotel -Helpful and kind staff -Delicious morning breakfast; homemade items each day! -Plenty of free and secure parking -Large umbrellas available for occasional rain storms -Close to neighborhood bar, grocery store, and local restaurant. -Walkable to the old town of Rovinj -Easy access to main roads to travel around the area to various vineyards and medieval towns. A huge thank you to Maria at reception! She is amazingly personable and makes wonderful recommendations throughout the Istria area. Rovinj Old Town
Very good hotel, only a few rooms, very design, very beautiful. Going out for a minute and going to the beautiful bay, this is a great place to watch the sunset. The rooms are fully equipped, but the electric kettle and toothpaste toothbrush need to be provided. The breakfast variety of the hotel is not so delicious, but the taste is very good. The hotel service was in place, the room was cleaned up in time, the hotel owner met us with a warm handshake and asked about the feeling of staying. When we arrived and left the hotel, the waiter sent us to the bus station with a battery car. Every service link can be professionalized. In addition, free travel requires basic oral English communication skills, which is very important.
