Upon arrival (checking in), I was disappointed to see three staff members just sitting in the reception area on their phones when they clearly should have been working; it was not a great first impression. Later that evening, the fire alarm sounded, prompting the evacuation of the hotel. The response was chaotic. There was no clear plan in place, and the staff on duty seemed unaware of how to manage the situation or assist the evacuated guests. It was unclear whether it was a drill or a genuine emergency, where we should gather, and how the hotel would inform guests. We waited outside for about 20 minutes until we learned from another guest that it was safe to re-enter. This should not have been a guest's responsibility. Other guests in the room above disturbed our sleep by making noise until 3am, ruining our night's sleep We were due to stay for two nights, but based on this poor experience, we decided to cut our trip short. I have tried contacting the hotel by email and to date no response.
