Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Ignace Lakefront

The view is good, the room was clean. The property is dated and looks unkempt. A little landscaping would go a long way. The building needs a facelift. The grounds have goose poop everywhere and some dog poo. They can't help the goose poo. I brought my dog and it's not hard to pick up after your dog. The bed was hard and springy. If my back wasn't so bad I wouldn't have noticed. The breakfast will fill the hole but what do you expect it's Days Inn not an actual restaurant.

I didn't like that they didn't have my reservation and I had to beg, borrow and steal yo get another room reservation that was almost impossible because of a bridge run in the area. Those ****** were clueless and they asked my name a few dozen times and proclaimed 'I did not have a reservation!' 'Yes, I do.' I reply. They won out. They ruined our whole weekend. Thanks a lot! Never again.

Rooms were large and clean. Beds were comfortable.

Lovely site, situated between the lake and trees hillside. However, the decor was extremely dated, they really need a refresh. There must have been a group of children the first night and morning we were there, quite boisterous and lots of running around. However, that’s no reflection on the inn, just kids being kids.

Bed was not comfortable, like sleeping on a board.

The hotel was perfectly fine, just a little dated. The ad mentioned hotel and pool, and my mistake, I thought it was indoors, but it wasn't. I really liked being on the water and got some beautiful photos. The breakfast was sufficient and saved on going to a restaurant. Staff was very friendly and caring.

It was terrible. The first night, people above us had a "child" running around at midnight and beyond. Called front desk twice and it FINALLY stopped only to start again at 5:30AM. At 9 I went to the desk and told them refund the 2nd night and I'll find another hotel, or move me to another room. They moved me, but the heater in that room sounded like a jet engine ever time it started which was about every 4 minutes. Ran for 3 then stopped. Then started again. I ended up shutting it off so I could finally get a good night's sleep. The first room had a light in the shower drain! Hmmm. The 2nd room had a very, very, slow draining tub. Both rooms must have had 5 gallon hot water heaters. They ran out within 2 minutes of starting a shower. This is the 2nd Days Inn I've stayed in, in the last year, and both stays were nightmares. I WILL NEVER stay in a Days in again.NEVER!!! Spend a few bucks more and get a better Hotel.

Priced ok for the location but overpriced for the condition and comfort. The mattress was cheap and uncomfortable.

Just awful.I requested no steps and they gave me the lowest level which was like a basement.so humid inside it ruined my pills. Could not wash my hair there was no hair dryer. There was no alarm clock. I couldn't get ice for my drinks because I would have to go up about 20 steps. When I called hotel office, all she said was well that is the room you paid for. There is nothing I can do because you went through *********. She was very rude. The room on the lowest was so dark it was like a dungeon. We have gone there many times and never had such a horrible experience like that. Stay away from DAYS INN ST.IGNACE MICHIGAN!!!!!
