Staff service attitude is very poor. After we checked out, they charged us two amounts from the bank card, but they didn't give us the bill details. We called to ask, and they said they would check before they get back to us. After three or four days, no one responded. It was hard to find someone to tell us that one of the expenses was for the restaurant. I said we didn't go to the restaurant at all, but asked ourselves to tell the restaurant manager. The fee was collected by Westin, and the restaurant is owned by Westin. If I have any problems, I should be asked to talk to their restaurant manager myself. This is simply evading responsibility and is unreasonable.
In addition, the hotel equipment is very old.

I have stayed in the Westin brand hotel with the worst service, not one of them. The room fee was deducted twice. There is no wardrobe for hanging clothes in the room. I booked a room with breakfast for two days, but only gave breakfast for one day...

Great location if you’re going to see the Cardinals. Close walk to many restaurants in Ballpark Village. About a 10 minute walk to the arch. The bed was wonderful. Our room was very spacious. Dawn in the restaurant was great. The valet guy was great. A couple of cons, but I would still definitely stay here again…when we checked in they said they were overbooked (they said they always overbook on game days). At first didn’t have a room with two beds like we reserved. They did ‘somehow’ find one. Also we stayed on side with ballpark view, which we loved. It was a bit noisy with the bars/restaurants on that side. It didn’t bother me, though. The metro was right out our window. We did see a man take a pee. But…overall, it was a great location and I recommend it!

Mr Phil, Tina Marie, the entire front desk team, housekeeping, Brandon. Mrs Bettye in Housekeeping, meeting set up team, and the restaurant staff are the highlights of the property. Then property is very warm and cozy as well. LaKierra and Jonathan ensure that the visitors needs were met with satisfaction. What a dynamic team.

The area of downtown seemed a little safer than some other parts. We walked everywhere and took public transportation too. Only during the day. We were in a accessible room so I am not sure if it is used often. The hairdryer was missing, a light burnt out (hotel fixed both issues) had to go to the 5th floor for ice and a microwave.

Kay was amazing! She gave us some great breakfast suggestions and she came back to check on us frequently! Try the French toast and the breakfast potatoes are seasoned so well. The only thing I would add is a seat your self sign and your server will be with you soon for those who haven’t ever been to this specific hotel. She’s also very friendly.

We went on a family trip to visit a few baseball stadiums. St. Louis was a must because we are a Cardinal Family, so we chose the Westin because of location. What we were not prepared for was the level of care and attention from the moment we pulled into Valet. Courtenay Rogers (Valet) was on duty through our visit and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was always going well. Always a smile and an answer to a question. He was top notch. Another employee that made it memorable was Rahul Rawal. He was on duty when we stopped for a snack and a drink before we went exploring. Greeting us with a smile and some tips for our stay. He also went above and beyond. The whole staff is amazing and these two gentlemen deserve a huge kudos. We will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and we will be back!
