Santi e Saraceni Rooms

We had three nights in Salerno to see the city and the Amalfi coast. Positive: central location of the hotel (supermarket nearby, lots of restaurants, not far from the beach/harbor), easy, quick check-in, great communication with the landlord, great restaurant tips and tips for beaches, car rental, etc. - really great! Negative: the cleanliness - the toilet smelled very strong and the toilet brush should have been replaced months ago. We bought a toilet cleaner so that we could even bear the bathroom. On the positive side, this problem was solved very professionally and well (one day later) and we were also reimbursed for the money for the cleaner. But something like that shouldn't happen. I also saw lipstick on some of the cups that were provided for coffee. :-( Neutral: the furnishings - a bit dated, but very functional. Everything was fine for a short stay. The bed was too hard for us, but that's a matter of taste.

Located in the historic center of the city, from here you can easily visit Salerno on foot, a few steps from the Duomo and its station which allows you to get to the b&b from the central station in just a few minutes. I stayed here for one night and I have to say that everything was great. From the kindness and availability of the owner, to the care and cleaning of the rooms. The b&b is located on the second floor (without a lift). The room is much larger than I imagined and the double bed is very large, it has a private bathroom with shower. The room overlooks the plebiscite square and has a small balcony. The place is very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping at night. Even if breakfast is not available, in the common area the owner let us find some snacks and the possibility to prepare a coffee independently. A refrigerator is also available. If I ever go back to Salerno I will definitely stay here again.

In the heart of Salerno, a very suggestive location with a spectacular view and a private terrace, a plus certainly not to be underestimated. Large, functional, clean and fragrant room. In the surroundings all possible and imaginable services (supermarket, pharmacy, bars, restaurants) and the Duomo at 100 meters. In short, everything is perfect, I absolutely recommend staying for those who want to experience Salerno in its full beauty

Great central location, helpful and kind lady who let us in earlier than the scheduled time. Clean and bright room with private bathroom. However, I recommend intervening on the bed, replacing the two single mattresses with a double one and the pillows, which are too low, inconsistent and uncomfortable.
