Great location, friendly efficient staff and excellent breakfast- but not a four star hotel. No bathrobes, no slippers, no daily water bottles in the room and no bathroom vanity kit/toiletries. Overpriced for a four star hotel so it fits in the 3 star category.
18 euros for daily parking was a bit steep as well compared to other hotels.
Loved the location but for the price I would stay at a true four star hotel on our next visit to Salzburg.

My husband and I stayed here during Christmas and the hotel had a festive cheer with its tasteful decorations. Check-in process was really smooth and the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious - plenty of room to move around even with our 2 large suitcases opened. We forgot that our booking came with free breakfasts so we missed out on the first morning. Nevertheless, the breakfast choice was good and we especially loved the sausages. Though the hotel is located quite a long walk away from the old town, we couldn’t complain as the price was reasonable and we had a pleasant stay. Plus, there’s ample parking space (extra charge) in the hotel grounds and is very well lit at night, making us feel safe even when leaving and returning to the hotel late at night.

The hotel has a nice lobby and an outward appearance of luxury. The façade is lovely and the gardens pleasant. Unfortunately, it is one of the least comfortable hotels l’ve stayed in while in Europe. The shower did not drain properly and therefore leaked all over the floor when used. The air conditioning did not cool below 24°C so sleeping was not comfortable, especially in the separate bedroom which had no duct (I stayed in a suite). The suite had nice furnishings but walls and carpets were dirty/stained and not well maintained. Given that I travelled in the summer, the lack of a bar fridge to keep cool drinks in was somewhat inconvenient, especially when coupled with the poor air conditioning. There was no iron/ironing board provided either. I will say that the restaurant ‘Salieri’ served good food and the waitress was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel.

Sehr nettes Hotel in einem hübschen Park, ruhig gelegen und doch in Fußnähe zu Salzburg's Zentrum. Sehr nettes und bemühtes Personal. Das Frühstück war reichlich und gute Qualität. Abend gibt es eine Bar mit guter Auswahl und es ist einfach nett, den Abend so ausklingen zu lassen

Können die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren hier als Startpunkt unserer Alpen-Adria-Tour. Lage: perfekt um mit dem Rad in die Ciclovia einzusteigen. 10min zu Fuß am Fluss entlang bis in die Altstadt. Parkplatz: völlig problemlos kann man sein Auto hier stehen lassen. Zimmer sauber, groß, alles gut. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas unbequem aufgebaut in einem engen Gang zur Küche. Trotzdem:Gerne Wieder
