We had an overnight stay here. It’s a chalet type of hotel on a very narrow road amongst the woods away from the centre in a top of a hill. Not very central but for us was a perfect setting as we wanted to be away from the noise. Our room was spacious and clean. It was facing the backyard where there are other private residences. It is a very old building and you can hear what’s going on in other rooms. There was parking when we arrived but it quickly filled up by the end of the day. The restaurant is only open 5 days a week and we were lucky it was open when we stayed. (Monday). The food was excellent as was the service. The hotel has been run by the same family for 150 years and we found all in all the staff were helpful and friendly.

Mooie kamer met een ruim balkon ( we hadden een kamer op een hoek) fijn dat je als kamer de sauna tot bezit had. Goed ontbijt met ruime keuze. De toerit is wel spannend na een lange dag rijden. Smal en steil maar dat went wel. De naam is vanzelfsprekend want het uitzicht is waanzinnig

We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open on the day we arrived - prior knowledge would have been helpful. The lady at the front desk made up for everything. She was the most helpful and kind and went out of her way to accommodate any request. Thank you.

Nice and clean, generally a pleasant stay. Walls are kind of thin, so noisy neighbors can be a nuisance.
