From the moment you walk through the door at this hotel you feel like a VIP. We initially came the property when it first opened and as avid Melia travellers we were keen to see the Paradisus brand in Europe and we were not disappointed. This was our third visit and we had our wedding ceremony and party here. Manuela our wedding planner has clear skills in event planning, event management and took a genuine interest in our wedding far exceeded our expectations. Her efficiency, creativity, and unmatched attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the wedding was perfect. The entire team that work here deserve the highest praise. I have worked in hospitality my whole career across various brands, and I have never experienced a team with genuine care and love for their work as we witnessed at the Paradisus. Every single member of staff was amazing—warm, attentive, and professional. We were so touched by the handwritten cards left in our room on several occasions – on the last evening we even had a card with a printed photo of us with all the staff who served at our wedding. This was the most intimate and sincere gesture. Every staff member greeted us by name and congratulated us on our wedding made us feel incredibly special. Our oceanfront room was stunning—its beauty and serenity provided the perfect space to relax and reflect on our unforgettable celebration. We also cherished the tranquillity and exclusivity of The Reserve private space, which gave us peaceful moments amid all the excitement. I would recommend couples looking for a more adult only experience to upgrade for a quieter pool option and for access to premium drinks. Across the hotel property the food and beverages experiences were extraordinary. In our wedding day in particular the food was spectacular and the ambience was elegant and luxurious, and every detail was seamlessly executed. It exceeded all our expectations and created memories we will treasure for a lifetime. Food and beverage across all outlets was divine and having a group of 50+ guests, we knew it would be impossible to cater to all tastes (many of which work in hospitality / cheffing) however all guests could not praise the hotel enough. I could name every single member of staff however the below team member truly made us feel so special; Raquel in Kanna & from our wedding day (who went above and beyond on looking after us on our last night spent with our immediate family), Roberto & Jamie in the shack, Manuela, Adriane & Carlos in the sales team, Claudia who served us in multiple places but was so much fun on our wedding day and Kevin in Guest Relations who assisted in our hour of need when we realised no one in our wedding party could tie a bow tie!
