Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio South

EXELENTE

Me and my family came from Houston and really enjoyed so much stay at Holiday Inn. Check in very fast, Rooms were clean, and it is near by our destinations. Staff super friendly. Parking lots were available.

Very clean rooms and very nice staff.

We arrived at our hotel around 5:30 or 6:00 in that time frame. My husband got ready to take a shower no hot water we told the clerk, and told her we needed another room. She stated that there were no more rooms. Then she stated that she had a room with a king bed, which we needed a two beds none was available. We then asked for a refund so we could get another hotel somewhere else. I was not pleased with her attitude so we asked for a manager no nowhere to be found. We traveled 4 hours with a limited amount of money that we had planned for other things. We were out of an extra 300 hundred dollars that we could have spent on other things. I’m very unhappy with Holiday Inn Express and we need our 149 dollars back.

There was no breakfast at breakfast time and it was hard to get a hold of someone at front desk at that time and there were kids running and screaming early in the morning in the hallway

I felt very unsafe using this trip . This hotel does not live up to the holiday inn experience. Room window was unlocked. All night loud loud noises dropping of buckets and laughs in the middle of the night. I would not stay here again lack of respect for quiet and sleep of the guests.

We were in the area for a wedding. This hotel is not one of the better HI-Express hotels that I've stayed in. CON: It feels a bit rundown. Our room was on the third floor and facing the highway. If you're a light sleeper, there is quite a bit of traffic noise from Loop 410 and the room air conditioner was quite loud as well. The room smelled musty. There was no luggage rack. The bathroom door would not stay open. We saw two roaches in the bathroom the first night. The floor in the bathroom looked dirty and it was kind of caved in a bit near the shower. PRO: The bed was super comfortable. The morning breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you're wanting to tour the Missions.
