The good: The breakfast was great, the room was very clean, nice and functional. The bad: The hot tub and business center had been closed for weeks prior to our arrival and we were not notified. The hot tub was "waiting for a part to arrive from Dallas" (a 5 hour trip) and the "General Manager closed the business center; no one knows why." So if any amenity is particularly important to you, call to check to see if it is actually available! On check in, we noticed a musty smell in the room. The air conditioner filters were CAKED with dust and had obviously not been cleaned in some time. The ice machine on our floor was not working. And there was some type of sticky residue all over the inside of the elevator doors that the staff must have seen every day yet did nothing about. The UGLY: On checking out, I asked to speak with the general manager. I was told he was "on the property, but showing rooms to prospective guests". Suuure. So I requested a phone call when he surfaced. It's been almost a week; still waiting! Bottom line: with so many lodging choices, I won't stay here again.
