Arenal VolcanoCcriskotsuArenal is wonderful. During winter is hard to see the full cone without mist, or even some clastic material falling down at night. However, it’s a gorgeous location to visit anytime of the year, close to San Jose even for one-day trip
Tabacon Hot Springs__We***54Really very good place. Goed twice, natural hot spring river. It is a bit far from the airport. There is a station about1.3 kilometers away from the airport. You can take the bus to Ciudad Quesada (2.5-3 hours), and then transfer (50 minutes). There are direct buses in the capital, but you have to get from the airport to the city center (buses go directly for about an hour).
Fortuna Waterfall乖乖小咪La Fortuna Falls in Costa Rica is a spectacular waterfall, although he is not very wide, but the water volume is very large. The water mist that sparked when the waterfall fell was very large, like a fairyland. There are many tourists swimming in the pool below, very happy.
Arenal Volcano National Park南南美当地向导YolandaVisitors to Arena Volcano Park are welcome, and the bubble volcanic hot springs are simply too enjoyable. The country is really a country that is brave! There are more than 270 volcanoes here, the most famous is Arena volcano located near the famous tourist resort of La Fortuna in northern Costa Rica. It had a devastating eruption in 1968, and it entered a long dormant state after 2010. Now it is a national park for tourists to visit. On the way to the volcano, you can see many small ants moving in groups and against the mini leaves to the observation deck. The view is very good. There is always a cloud and mist around the crater, surrounded by cloud and fog forests. There is a dining shop next to it, you can have a drink and look at the volcano. The scenery here is too suitable for wide angles, enjoy pure life pura vida! ❤️ For more local fun in Costa Rica, please consult me!
Baldi Hot SpringsCcriskotsuIt’s pricey but gorgeous. You are not allowed to get any food/drinks inside, and anything there is very expensive. However, hot springs are beautiful and we had a great time there. You have a great view of the volcano while you enjoy the hot springs.Just be careful of the rock walls when you walk through each pool, my bf got a lot of cuts and I got bruises.
Cerro Chato ANC Park & Gardens呆呆火First and foremost - don't underestimate this hike. It's just a hike much better. The last place you're going to be in a steep gradient and climb over/root rocks and you need to use the corresponding hands and feet. Really untouchable nature, but because people walk in its paths are visible to all. It is not paved or marked but easy to follow. There is a big lake on the top floor, but that tells you too. Really not too much. We didn’t go swimming because driving us crazy insects and bed bugs. On the way back we focused on getting some great environment and views of Arenal volcano. In short we were always in about 5 hours. You want to do this early and be sure to avoid this place at night for bed bugs, snakes, etc. Highly recommend this hike for the sake of hiking, not particularly much of the top lake. We will definitely feel our muscles for the next two days, but it is worth it. :)
