After reading the other reviews, which I regret not having done prior to booking, I had two major concerns regarding parking and noise level, both of which turned out to be non-issues; however, a plethora of other concerns arose pretty much immediately upon entering the room. The room is tiny, and two parents and two teenagers trying to co-exist in the space is a challenge. We had to use the ironing board to add extra counter space for our belongings. The crappy wall AC unit blew directly on us while we were trying to sleep, so we had to block it with a suitcase. The “closet” is a nook in the wall with a curtain. The bathroom is so small that it’s even a challenge to get dressed in. Water from the tiny shower leaked all over the floor, so there was definitely no way we would plug in anything in the bathroom for fear of electrocution. The television didn’t work properly, so the front desk person was in our room late at night trying to fix it; he couldn’t. The next day they tried again to fix it, though it still was a challenge to figure out how to actually do things like adjust the volume. Having two hotel staff invading our space during this was creepy and unnecessary if they had been in the practice of checking their equipment before checking in guests. The rooftop terrace is nothing more than a slab of concrete with dilapidated furniture on it and looks nothing like the picture representing it online; that photo is one of the reasons I chose this place, and it ended up being deceiving. The price we paid for the stay, even though it was below the average room price for the area, was absolutely not worth it. Never again will we consider staying here.
