Comfort Inn San Diego Miramar

The location was good but the breakfast was not good and one of the room ac don’t work good. One of the room shower was not good and working well

I have never encountered such an incompetent front desk person. She seemed very confused, as if it were her first day on the job and would consider placing her away from the customers to spare them. Firstly, my room did not have a heater. Rather than fix the situation by moving me to a room with a heater, I was told that I couldn't be moved because no one would be able to clean the room. What kind of an excuse is that?! Don't fix the heater and move someone else into the room so they can be uncomfortable on a 49 degree San Diego evening? That only sounds fabulous if I am having hot flashes, which I am not. I will say that the room was clean when I entered and want to give the room cleaning staff a shout out since they are truly doing their job. How about fix the heater and you won't have to worry about moving someone into another room because heaters weren't fixed. When I pay for a room, I expect all features to be functional and am not really concerned about how you will clean the room when I depart from it. I really hope that management sees this and ensures that all elements in a room are working and teach their front desk staff to do better.

Breakfast and clean room good, wasn’t given military discount( room already booked) reserved king bed, only ones available were on 3rd level, there’s no elevator, tiles are faded, bathroom ceiling had mold and needed resurfacing, freezer needed defrosting, walls are thin, housekeeper left window open, tv remote hard to work and had to get key redid on last night

The staff was not friendly or helpful when asked if they recommend a good car rental (first time renting a car so we weren’t sure what to ask or do) the guy says google it and find out! We were on the bottom floor that smelled like mildew and we were close to laundry room that we could hear through the walls! There was a lady who was staying a few doors down from us yelling at the house keeper “ why did you leave my door open? someone could have walked in and stole my laptop!” I will never go back I would have rather slept in my car rental!

Older facility, room smelled musty with outdated ventilation and fire safety. No elevator for higher floor.

Room is clean, housekeep by request but they even came to change towers proactively. Free parking and convenient to go to tourist attractions.

Not good.
