A hotel that is small but well-equipped. The hotel is adjacent to the Union Square shopping district. Turn left three blocks away and you will find the Neiman Marcus department store. The hotel is small and old, but it is very exquisite, clean and refreshing. There are many Indian-style decorations in the lobby, which is very atmospheric. The hotel service staff are extremely enthusiastic. The doorman immediately helped unload the luggage, delivered it all the way to the room, and even helped dust the dust. In the evening, they will also give you chocolate-filled snacks. The room is very clean and comfortable, and is also equipped with an electric kettle, knitted bathrobes, and slippers. The bed sheets are also like domestic hotels using quilt covers and duck down quilts. The toiletries are all made from the old British brand Molton Brown, and the fragrance lasts a long time. In short, this Taj Hotel is a secret treasure in the center of Sanban City. It has the warmth of home and the luxury of a third world country. Highly recommended!

A truly adorable hotel, in terms of hardware. Unfortunately, I suspect that I might have come across, as an East Asian, some sorts of racial discrimination at this property. For instance, I was asked how I got my European passport and, for multiple times, where I was “originally” from. I was intentionally assigned with a low-floor room with absolutely no view (facing their office room across a narrow atrium; the room in my photos is after me paying for an upgrade).

Taj Campton SF has a great location, very friendly staff, and excellent food quality recommend this one if you want to be near Union Square area, the location is right next to the Apple Store and 2 minutes from Macys , good shopping options nearby

The staff is so nice and kind! Made my stay so special. The hotel is beautiful in a wonderful location. I would absolutely stay again. Honestly am going to always stay here for future visits. Had so much fun everyone was so great!

As listed on the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, I had high expectations of an elite hotel experience but was quite disappointed with this stay. Upon arrival, we were informed by the front desk agent that we had been upgraded to a better room. However, we were surprised to find that the room was very small and featured dated furnishings, which did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, we were not notified in advance that the hotel’s restaurant would be closed for renovations. As a result, we were forced to order room service, which we had to eat while holding the plate in our laps due to the limited seating options (only one chair and a desk combo). While the food tasted satisfactory, its presentation was lackluster. Additionally, the Wi-Fi service was notably slow, with a speed test showing only 7 Mbps. This significantly impacted our ability to work and stay connected during our stay. A mandatory resort fee of $35 was charged for use of the WiFi, fitness center (didn’t use) and a bottle of water in the room. Based on these experiences, I am hesitant to recommend the Taj Campton Palace as a preferred choice on an elite hotel website in the future. It does not meet the standards of luxury and quality that I have come to expect from other fine hotels I have stayed at.
