Beck's Motor Lodge

Totally convenient location and awesome hotel💞💞 Stayed there many years/decades ago and it is just as wonderful and friendly now as back then, reasonably priced close to MUNI/BART etc and FREE PARKING!!! Looking forward to staying at Beck's again!

It was clean, updated, comfortable, and the shower was amazing. I would stay here again without question. The hotel is also in an area where they are a lot of quality restaurant options. This one is a winner!

Room is simple but trendy. Amenities are reasonably placed. A bit more effort on cleaning is needed though. Drive in and free parking is the most highlighted feature being a motor lodge. Should be a much better choice than other chained brand. Overall satisfactory stay.

Always a pleasure to stay at Beck's when in SF. I've tried out most of the rooms at this point and liked them all to varying degrees. The price is reasonable, the location is convenient whether you want to spend your time in the Castro or hop the MUNI to pretty much anywhere else in the City. The only thing that would keep me from staying here is if they have no vacancy. Staff is always friendly and knowledgable. For example, I usually arrive early (bothersome, but I am coming from a different time zone) and they will always at least try to accommodate an early check-in. They totally don't have to but I always appreciate the effort! Rooms can be cozy/compact or spacious depending on your needs and/or budget. If you get a room toward the front, ear buds are recommended for the light sleeper (which IIRC they always provide). There are rooms that face the neighborhood in the back which are PERFECT if you like everything a little quieter.

The room was noisy and you can hear the road traffic noise from your room with the small gap underneath your door facing the street.

Easy access from the parking to the rooms and all the fun activities that the Castro and theater district have to offer. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. It's a walking distance to the Muni Metro, restaurants, bars, and dancing!!!!

Great location. No hassle with the parking nor additional fees. Walkable to restaurants, bars, subway transportation.

Great motel in the city. Staff was so nice. Helped us find restaurants, coffee and things to do. Very clean comfortable beds and room. Stayed with my wife and a friend. Ed at the front desk is awesome. The location is centrally located in the city, easy access to buses and even tried Waymo.
