Hotels near Yucca Ridge Trail/ BoB’s Trail, San Luis Obispo County

I'm very picky and this low budget motel room was so nice and fresh and clean. My pup and I slept through the night on the fresh, clean, COMFY bed. Air cond. Worked perfectly!!! Staff always available. In walking distance if downtown San Luis obispo. Just hoping they will be able to add a fenced in grass area for dogs some day.

The hotel location is very good, just here is moonstone beach, you can see the beach after walking, there are several viewpoints within a range of about 500 meters by car. There are also wooden walkways to go. The courtyard room is useless. The small courtyard behind is not close to the sea, facing the high speed, it is better to have an ordinary room, the price is only half. Nice modern newer hotel in Atascadero, convenient for visiting Paso Robles, Morro Bay, SLO and Avila Beach (as long as you have a car). Minutes from the 101. PROS: Plenty of free parking, well lit. Modern, clean, newer hotel with up-to-date decor. Friendly front-desk person. Pool, gym, business center and breakfast included. Nice spacious breakfast area. Wall Street Journal available in lobby. Quiet stay until our last night when we had to call the front desk twice when a rabble of people were being very loud on our floor after 'Quiet Hours'. Vending machines and small shop with essentials available downstairs. CONS: I was not impressed that they don't offer housekeeping/a room refresh unless you're staying more than 5 days, although there was the option to ask for new towels at the front desk. When you're paying around the $200/night mark, you expect to come back at the end of a busy day to have at least your bed made and the room refreshed. I was told that 'People like the fact nobody enters the room while they're gone'. While this is one advantage, this is basically post-Covid corporate greed speak for 'It's a good excuse to not spend money and hire people to clean and make back some money we lost'. If I don't get my room cleaned, I might as well rent a room in someone's house through an on-line app. Breakfast food was your typical hotel chain buffet with sugary yogurts, cheap breads/bagels, rubbery eggs, brown spotted bananas, etc. When are hotels going to start offering more quality food? At least it's something to put in your belly before you go out for the day and you don't have to traipse the streets looking for breakfast. All-day coffee and tea in the lobby would be a nice touch like some other chains offer. I found the bathroom dimly lit, despite a light around the mirror. We stopped here for a night and were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and comfortable with a big comfortable bed, probably one of the most comfortable beds of our trip and we've stayed in more expensive accommodations on this trip It's always good when one fine's somewhere like this. It was excellent value and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Pastoral style, quiet, large room, clean and decorated very distinctively. There is no breakfast, and you can taste the wine made by local farmers every afternoon at the free red wine time. Parking is free.

The hotel is right on the beach, the environment is good, but the room is very general, not worth the price, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, breakfast can only be eaten, the water is not smooth, it feels disgusting, but the hotel's large terrace is very comfortable with fire The equipment, other facilities besides the beach, because it is not so much to pay for a night, and the city center has not gone.

It is a BEAUTIFUL location and the staff is super friendly. They serve a hot breakfast every morning that rivals going out to a restaurant. The pool and hot tub are nice and clean! The rooms themselves are roomy, clean & equipped with all of the latest technology. I loved my stay here and I cannot wait to come back. Each room also had a patio which my pets loved. They’re super pet-friendly and that’s hard to come by. We love The Agrarian!

The suites are large: a living room area and a separate bedroom. Ours had two TVs, a microwave, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. But the real selling point is there is a wonderful free breakfast daily from 6:30 to 9:30am. The cafe and outside tables allow for plenty of room to enjoy the wide variety of breakfast items, including egg dishes prepared to order. The cafe staff are uniformly friendly. Also from 5:30 to 7:30pm there if Happy Hour in the bar. Beer and wine are free. Sit in the bar or sit out by the pool. If you want a quick hot dog or burger, a barbecue is available and the prices for that food are nominal. The hotel is right off the 101 on Monterey St, which goes right down to the old downtown section. I can't say enough good things about this operation and it is the only place we stay when we visit San Luis Obispo. I have to assume that the management of this hotel knows what they are doing and seems to have employees who are happy and service oriented.
