Peach Tree Inn

This is a family owned and operated Inn on Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo. It is an incredibly wonderful place to stay. The owners take obvious pride in updating the rooms with modern furnishings while maintaining a comfy country feel. The place has free parking right in front of your room, is immaculate with outdoor furnishings and beautiful views, swings, chairs, a cozy deck and free breakfast included. We loved it here and will be back. Highly recommended.

We were told about this place when our son was attending Cal Poly. It is our “go to” motel for the past 6 years. It is clean and reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly. The location is centrally located so, if you want to run to Pismo or up to Cambria or anywhere in between, this is the place to stay.

We had several friends and family members staying at the Peach Tree due to a family medical emergency. Everyone on staff was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. One friend drove through the night from Phoenix to be here. Peach Tree allowed her and her family to get into their room early so they could get some sleep. We all had to extend our stay at the last minute, no problem. My husband and I had been coming up from LA every weekend as this situation unfolded - we stayed at 2 other motels and would not recommend them. Yes, the property is old, like all the other motels around - but it is very clean, comfortable and so charming. They serve our favorite Central Coast coffee at breakfast, SLO Brewing Company, which was a lovely surprise. The staff really went above and beyond for our family in a time of distress, and we are forever grateful.

My family and I needed to be in San Luis Obispo for a family emergency. We stayed at the Peachtree Inn. They were kind, they were sympathetic to our situation and they were so very accommodating. My family and I had planned on going on a Thursday but needed to change plans and go a day early. I called to ask if this was possible and the staff made it possible on top of that they gave me a huge discount as well. When we arrived they had us make sure all of us would be comfortable in the family suite, because if we weren’t they were going to make changes for us. At the end of our stay we thought we might need to extend an extra day I called the front desk and talked to them and without hesitation they said don’t worry about it we will take care of you. Not only were they kind and empathetic for me and my family, they were kind to other members of my extended family and friends who stayed there as well for the same reasons. As someone who works in the travel industry and customer service I was so impressed with the Peach tree and their staff. I would stay here 1000 times over because of their kindness their empathy and their willingness to do the right thing for a family that is going through something terrible.

Very reasonable stay with breakfast included. The location is very convenient. We had a problem with our room, and they upgraded us to a nicer room without our having to ask. If you are prepared for an outdated room, you’ll be very happy with your stay.

I really love this place. The prices are very competitive; it's clean; there is a comfortable common area which is pleasant to hang out in if you don't want to stay in your room; there are places to sit outside; it's unpretentious and relaxed.

Clean rooms, but for god's sake, please turn off the courtyard lights at night!!! With the thin curtains, it was like trying to sleep in the middle of the day. I got like 1 hour of sleep when we stayed there this past weekend.
