Studio 6 San Marcos, TX

Everything was great

The bathroom was gross (stuff hanging off of shower curtain). And no bathroom amenities. Two travel size bars of soap. It didn’t appear that night stands had ever been wiped down ( drink rings and dried splashed liquid )

Upon settling in the room we pulled back the sheets of the beds and there was blood stained on one and what looked like urine on the other bed. We were going to call front desk to get clean sheets to discover that the the phone did not have a receiver handle nor was it plugged in. Did feel aafe to go down in the night to let fron desk know. We slept in our clothes and on top of the bed and when we took a shower , the towels were filthy.

People were fighting when you walked up to the property with kids around. The front desk person was no where to be found. Waited like 30 mins to finally get checked In only to walk into our room with it smelling like smoke. Pillows looked like someone had been laying on them and the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Over all bad experience and most studio 6 I’ve stayed at have been pretty decent. This one was horrible!

First of all, it was never stated as an "extended" stay Studio 6. 2nd it was in the worst part of town possible. Way too dangerous. 3rd, there was absolutely no parking at all for my pickup truck. 4th, Kids were screaming at 3:00 am when I arrived to check in. 3:00 am screaming kids. Nonetheless, I did not check in and did not stay.

This place is a hidden gem. The front desk clerk, Brittany, was wonderful. It's clean, comfortable, and not a bank breaker. I mean, how many places can you find with a full kitchen, a bathroom that works exactly the way it's supposed to, and a comfortable bed. It even has a small eating area. And the rooms are not tiny by any means. Goodbye Marriott!
