We really enjoyed the IBYC - we usually stay north of the bridge in Sun Pedro but this is a great location and even though it is next to the main road the property is very quiet and peaceful. Our condo had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed walking the beach up to Ramon’s Village and the Blue Water Grill. We didn’t dive this trip but there is a dive shop on the dock. It’s only a 5-10 minute golf cart ride through town to many restaurants.

Siamo arrivati e all14.15 e la stanza non era pronta. Ci ha detto alla reception di aspettare 1 ora e dopo un ora di aspettare un’altra ora perché devono pulire tutte le stanze e aspettare altri ospiti. Non mi è capitato mai di sentire una cosa simile in più di 50 anni di viaggi. Tra l’altro l’hotel non costa poco… Ci hanno lasciato sotto la pioggia, sotto l’ombrellone come dei barboni dopo un viaggio di un giorno e mezzo. Che vergogna!

The location is perfect. We are divers and Belize Diving Adventures is literally on the lot. The balconies were spacious with comfortable seating. You cannot hear the traffic from the rooms or the pool. The kitchen utensils are a bit outdated but we didn’t cook anything besides breakfast so it didn’t matter. My only complaint is the bedding. There was a sheet and a thin throw on the beds, no actual blankets. Even with the bedding issue though, I would definitely stay here again. We all really enjoyed the Yacht Club!

Isla Bonita is an outstanding value for being beach front and offering kitchens. The location is perfect - near the airport and central to everything. We also took advantage of the dive shop on the pier directly connected to the complex for snorkeling and scuba adventures. However, some aspects of the unit and buildings were run down (small hole in the wall, old furniture) and our bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise, I would recommend Isla Bonita.

We cannot be any happier about our stay at our condo. We were second floor right next to the ocean. The staff is super friendly. The condos are older but nicely updated with very comfortable beds. Housekeeping was provided daily. We could walk to the pool in 30seconds! Having the dive shop on site is an extra bonus!

Well appointed suite, nicely equipped, beware of noisy neighbors. In this time of remote work this is not the place for you if you plan to work even a little. The internet was non existent, we reported it every day and it didn’t get fixed. The ice cream shop nearby has way better internet if you need it
