Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife

Visited almost a year ago, have travelled extensively, but this was possibly the best hotel we have stayed in. Very clean, tidy and much attention to detail. Great staff, very helpful and food…lots of choice and of a good standard. In fact we loved it so much, we rebooked as soon as we arrived home and are visiting again in a months time..can’t wait!!! We had a side sea view room which didn’t disappoint and asked that our mini bar be emptied so we could use it as a fridge, nothing here is a problem, fridge had been emptied by the time we got to our room from reception, I call that good service!! Look forward to our revisit shortly! Thank you, amazing RiuPalace!
Royal River, Luxury Hotel

This is an absolutely outstanding hotel with impeccable staff. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and stunning surroundings then this is the perfect hotel for you. Our room was the royal river room I believe it's the basic room, but when we walked in we felt like we'd arrived at a Maldivian island (we've visited there twice). The room was very large with a separate sitting room, double closing doors to the bedroom and then a double sink bathroom with a beautiful bath and rainfall shower. Outside there was a smallish pool similar to what you'd get in an over water villa in the Maldives, a gorgeous double bed, egg chair and corner sofa which we used in the evening for drinks. From our pool you could swim out to the river and take some amazing photos of the tree canopy covered river. They offer theme food nights we did the Asian and French nights both of which were incredible. But it is only a 5 min taxi ride to caleta where there are many other restaurants too. My husband had a small issue with hotel laundry with an expensive shirt however duty manager Daniella was incredibly professional, concerned and helpful she recompensed us for the cost of the shirt. And aside that in all our dealings with her she is clearly a real asset to this hotel. The only very slight comment is about the bathroom soap/shampoo dispensers they seem a bit cheap which was a complete surprise given that EVERY fitting in this hotel is clearly very expensive. It wasn't a problem just an observation. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay and we will most certainly be back.
Barceló Santiago - Adults Only

Really good hotel with excellent food and entertainment. Everywhere was kept spotless and the pool areas were spacious with plenty of beds and umbrellas. Never had a problem finding one spare. The views were spectacular with the cliffs of Los Gigantes facing us from our balcony. There was a footpath along the coastline from Puerto de Santiago to Los Gigantes but anywhere inland meant a steep climb. We only booked one trip - Teide by night, which was spoilt for us by having to sit on the coach for two hours picking up all the way down to Los Cristianos before the tour itself started. The only downside to the hotel was the inability of housekeeping to get the light outside rooms 219 and 221 to stay on. I reported it three times, they “fixed” it twice, but it was off again the next night and I gave up. It meant the approach to our room was very dark late on.
Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa

This was the first time staying here but we will defiantly be back, could not fault anything in and around the hotel or the golf course. Staff were excellent at their jobs and very attentive and friendly, food excellent, room beautiful, pool area lovely and quiet. The golf course was in a great condition and the procedure of having your clubs stored in the lockers ready for putting on your own buggy then driving straight out to the first tee was amazing. As I said earlier I have already booked to return to this little piece of heaven.
Hotel Tenerife Golf & Seaview
3.9/546 Reviews
Very convenient hotel as it is a few minutes by taxi from Tenerife South airport (about €15 by taxi), facing the sea, the view from the room is exceptional. The swimming pool, sheltered from any breeze with glass windows, is heated and you can swim (if you are not too cold) even in winter. The restaurant is a buffet with a good variety of choices, every evening we were offered a different type of dinner (Italian, Spanish, Canarian, etc...). Outside the hotel there is a beautiful promenade along the seafront, while it is surrounded by clubs and commercial activities (the commercial area is really small). The entertainment is limited to a few hours of live music, even for children it is almost nothing and there is no play area.
