Family-friendly Hotels in Santa Eularia des Riu

Good location in Santa Eulalia, for me the best area of ​​Ibiza if you are looking to go with your partner or family. The breakfast was excellent! Although if I had to give a suggestion, it would be that they put fresh orange juice. The check in was great, they had availability and they gave us the room before the hour. For check out, they had rooms available and made us pay €10 an hour from 12 until we left. We have a baby and we needed the room until after lunch to take him changed to the airport. I understand that if there is no availability, they don't do it... or that if you want to leave at 6 pm, they charge you something, but for a short time it seems ridiculous to me. I have an accommodation, and as long as there is availability it is not difficult for me to let my guests leave later.

Surpassed our expectations! This hotel in my opinion is a 5 star hotel - not 4 as advertised. The moment you arrive, you will realise you have made the best choice! The location is unbelievable - you are right on the sea front which means you’ll have fantastic views. There is also a nearby marina with many wonderful restaurants. Playa den Bossa is 20mins by car, and there are many other lovely places to visit nearby. We hire a car from Autos Mari which id highly recommend if you want to explore and soak up all that this island has to offer - it is far far far more than just nightclubs and playa d’en Bossa. All the staff are very well trained and extremely friendly. We feel like we have made friends with them all - Monica, Jennifer, Adrian, Alex and Mr night shift from NZ whose name I didn’t get (mainly because we only saw him between 1-5am when strolling back in from the nightclubs) who all went above and beyond to make our experience extra special and catered to all our unusual requests, plus the restaurant staff are all so lovely! 4 nights wasn’t enough this time, so we have booked to come back in 10 months for 10 more nights of pure magic at this hotel on this special island! Got back from this hotel on Sunday. We have stayed here on many occasions over the years when it was the Sol Beach House and always liked it. Now that it has been updated under the Meliá brand we booked a Level supreme sea view room and was not disappointed. Large balcony with a double sunlounger and a wicker chair and table - perfect to relax with a coffee or tea, there was a coffee machine in the room and a kettle with a choice of teabags and coffees. Room was clean and very comfortable. If I had anything to say it would be the lack of English speaking channels on the TV, but that wasnt a problem. There is now a separate dedicated check in for Level guests and with Patricia, who was welcoming and friendly at reception, right through to the Level breakfast with a special mention to Raquel who took our breakfast order most mornings, they always had a smile and helpful suggestions. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a uniquely beautiful spot where you can see the coast line for miles and also good for walking along the coastline or to the marina, shops and restaurants - marina is approximately 10 minute walk along a flat, tiled walkway. My mum was with us and she struggles with walking but was able to manage the walk there and back easily. There was one day that had rain forecast and I noticed an umbrella holder with multiple umbrellas for guests to use if they wished, by the door in the reception area. It’s these little touches that makes it special for me. Another was a singer on guitar at breakfast on Sunday morning, was just perfect to sit there with the sea sounds and the gentle voice of the singer while eating breakfast. Absolutely heavenly. The rooftop pool and bar is again another wonderful spot to relax, swim and see the view for miles as it’s one of the highest buildings along that coastline. Lastly we enjoyed the tapas in the level lounge area daily between 5-6pm, as well as the soft drinks, teas and coffees, wine and beer available all day. Also will mention is the WI-FI was very good, reliable and fast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking to relax and chill out in a beautiful place.

We stayed at Duqesa for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Rooms are spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. They are very well equipped with a lovely cool bedroom and a very powerful shower in bathroom. There is a lovely rooftop pool with plenty of beds and never overly busy. The location is perfect for us as a short walk to marina, bars and restaurants and the beach. The road noise is loud but you are bang in the centre. What really makes this hotel is the amazing staff. Have travelled all over and never had as lovely friendly obliging staff. Catered to our every need with a friendly smile and chat every day. Yolanda, Rene, Walid and Tony, it was a pleasure to meet you all.

I would rate this hotel a 3* at a push was so glad we stayed just b&b and not half board the hot buffet breakfast was cold they had broccoli as a choice one morning then another time green beans mixed with mushrooms must of been left overs from the previous evening it would have been nice to have had omelettes and pancakes, the pool area was small and overlooked the pool bar was expensive, music that was being played was typical 1980s Ibiza trance music, there were no had rails to get in and out of the pool, the lounge was empty every evening drinks there were expensive cheaper to go to a restaurant in the marina, the doors at the entrance to the hotel had doormats which were tatty and curled up at the sides a hazard, the whole hotel had no atmosphere probably needs a good management team especially in the kitchen, the resort was very nice shops marina and plenty of places to eat

This hotel is perfectly located, close to all amenities whilst offering beautiful views & a sense of tranquility. I was in a little apprehensive about my room before visiting as I was aware from other reviews & images that some rooms & parts of the hotel are dated & in need of renovation. I was very pleased to be given a newly renovated single room which exceeded my expectations. It was spacious & very comfortable with gorgeous views (& sounds) of the lovely Ibizan sea. I enjoyed some gorgeous sunrises from my room which was lovely to wake up to. Staff give a warm & friendly welcome & are very helpful providing lots of information & recommendations on things to see & do on your holiday. Food & service in the restaurant was good overall. The restaurant opposite the beach (part of the hotel group) is divine & the food & service are excellent so I would highly recommend a visit there during your stay. I did not join in on any of the activities but the staff leading the entertainment both seemed very friendly & they mixed well with the guests making everyone feel welcome. There are several solo travellers so you feel perfectly safe & comfortable in this hotel alone & it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Parts of the hotel are showing signs of age, however I understand it is in the process of being renovated & if the room I was given is anything to go by, I expect it will look wonderful once all parts of the hotel are completed to match the Ibiza vibe. Housekeeping was a little inconsistent but a quiet word with reception ensured anything they missed was addressed so no major issue. There are beautiful walks either side of the hotel as well as all the shops & restaurants behind. The bus service is reliable & an affordable way to explore the Ibiza town & other sights. Overall a lovely holiday & for location & the friendly staff, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
