The location is amazing - the view, the building, and the backyard. They preserved well the genoan elements in the house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The italian breakfast was good and served elegantly in a beautiful room, with lots of homemade foods. The only drawback is that the parking was 10EUR per day.

Très bon séjour ! Villa magnifique, chambre grande et très fonctionnelle (incluant une baignoire à bulles !), et un patio avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner était aussi un régal, avec un large choix et des produits locaux. Tout était top, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Exquisite villa with port views. An oasis of inspiration. we loved the vibe, the villa, the room. We had the suite Il Frutuoso with an amazing view. We had an Alexa in our room so we put some jazz to acompany the view and the finishing of the villa. The flooring and ceiling are original ones from 1874. We loved it.

A very nice experience with nice views. Rooms are large, very comfortable bed with nice linen and with the character of the original villa. Breakfast on the patio came with a beautiful view. Quality of the breakfast was also very nice. Hosts are friendly and helpful. The property is a little difficult to find but the on-site parking is an added benefit. Arrived late in the afternoon and drove into Portofino around 8pm no issues to have dinner. Access down to the town and station is from a stairway next to the hotel and easy to find but the climb is a little steep. Didn’t use it as I had a car but for those using public transport, getting up and down from the villa may require effort if you have luggage. No irons in room but they do provide a steamer. Overall a nice experience for a one night stay to visit Portofino.

Tout d’abord l’accueil, le sourire de Valeria, Maya , Barbara et toute l’équipe. C’est la première impression en arrivant. Et c’est définitivement la bonne. Puis le lieu, l’ambiance,la qualité du service que l’on sent sincère pour des amoureux de leur métier et de cette magnifique Villa qui surplombe Santa Margherita, et la proximité de la gare et des commerces. Une fois la voiture garée dans l’enceinte de la Villa qui se situe dans une impasse, tout peut se faire à pieds. Nous y reviendrons avec des amis pour leur faire partager notre expérience, la dolce Vita et les excellents petits déjeuners avec des produits frais et de très bonne qualité. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo elegante B&B in un mese un po’ caldo , nonostante le temperature abbiamo dormito benissimo grazie all impianto di condizionamento ben posiziona e silenzioso , la villa ha un fascino di altri tempi e si affaccia sul golfo di Santa Margherita con un ottima vista , buona la colazione con prodotti locali , il parcheggio interno è comodo è importante visti gli spazi esigui in questi paesi liguri dedicati alle auto.

Siamo stati molto bene in questa splendida villa , che ha un’atmosfera particolare, vicina al mare, 10 minuti a piedi, e tranquilla, bellissimo giardino, camere con alti soffitti affrescati, vista su Santa Margherita incantevole . Siamo stati accolti con professionalità e gentilezza, estrema cura in tutto, sicuramente un posto in cui tornare, pensiamo anche in primavera , per godersi i fiori , le piante e il relax

Villa Gelsomino, Villa storica nel cuore di Santa Margherita Ligure vicinissima alla stazione e al centro, è bellissima in ogni suo particolare: stanze pulitissime con soffitti affrescati (la nostra con meravigliosa vista mare), letto e cuscini comodissimi, macchinetta caffè in camera, ampio giardino molto ben curato, tranquillità, wifi, ottima e abbondante colazione con vista mare, parcheggio incluso.
