I stayed 8 days at Sigal Villa with my two children aged 10 and 14 between July 10, 2022 and July 18. We were welcomed very late at night by the owner Epiphanio. We lived in an apartment with mezzanine, bathroom (shower + WC) and a small kitchenette (2 electric hotplates), a fridge, and the necessary to prepare emergency meals (pasta, omelet etc...) . A small terrace and breathtaking view of the caldera. It was magical, whether in the evening or during the day. Breakfast is served in a covered terrace by Epiphanio. It's very hearty and good (coffee, fruit, omelet, pancakes, jam, pastries etc...). If you need advice, don't hesitate to ask him. He was born and lives in Santorini. He knows everything. He is also a great bouzouki player (sometimes he plays at the end of the day in a corner of the hotel all by himself). The hotel is family-run. It is a small structure which also has a swimming pool, large and maintained with a magnificent view. The hotel is located above the village of Akrotiri, therefore in the southern part of the island, far from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia, but close to Red Beach, a prehistoric site (a must see!). A car, choose there small is essential to take full advantage of his stay here. Do not forget either that the island is windy especially in summer. Last thing, Epiphanio allowed us to stay the last day by the pool all afternoon after our morning check out (11am) and offered us fruit juice and iced coffee for me. A big thanks to him ! It was superb !
