Terrible experience and customer service. They sold our reservation! After flying for hours and paying 50 euro for an airport transfer, the hotel manager (Konstantinos) told us he didn’t have a reservation for us. He initially told us his system showed us arriving on different dates but later admitted he sold our room to a wedding party. He tried to offer us a cheap room nearby but it was a subpar room. I contacted him prior to our arrival and THEY setup our airport transfer so he absolutely knew when we were arriving. My confirmation dates were correct. We moved to the Domes property who welcomed us. Would never book or stay at La Maltese. He didn’t even offer to cover our additional 50 euro hotel transfer to the new hotel. Very poor management. Most accommodations in Santorini deserve an automatic 5 stars naturally on the view alone! Truly one of the most magical places on Earth. The property itself is so great - high point in Imerovigli with a stunning view and spacious rooms - air conditioned and well maintained. Service could certainly improve - in terms of communication and follow up. We scheduled our car service through the hotel and they were late and difficult to communicate with. They also didn’t communicate before or after booking that the pool has limited hours which seems unusual.

We had a pleasurable stay at La Maltese Concept. Our room (109) had it's own private balcony where the hottub was. It was here where we watched the incredible sunsets from the comforts of our room and as the twilight turned night we glazed at the stars.
The room was an adequate size. Big enough to fit two massage beds as requested an hour massage for my girlfriend's birthday. The bathroom was cave-like, but one fault I would have to comment is that the shampoo and conditioner didn't get replenished over our three night stay and the flush sometimes didn't work...but then it did again.
Breakfast was included and the continental breakfast served to us at the Buddha-bar was enough to sustain us until lunch.
Would stay here again for the views and the quietness compared to places in Fira and Oia.

Πήρα ένα mojito. Το ρούμι ήταν ΠΟΛΥ ΚΑΚΗΣ ΠΟΙΌΤΗΤΑΣ. Ο πάγος δεν ήτα τριμμένος. Ο δυόσμος έπρεπε να πατηθεί για να βγάλει τα αρώματα του. Και το σέρβιραν σε ποτήρι του νερού.! 30 ευρώ το mojito. Το γκαρσόνι δεν ήξερε να εξυπηρετήσει.! Είμαστε από τα Φηρα εγώ και η γυναίκα μου κ έχουμε πάει πολλές φορές.! Ήταν η τελευταία φορά!!!!! Κάθε χρόνο γίνεται χειρότερο

Our stay was great. Went with my husband and we booked the room with the master caldera view. The hot tub was great and we asked them clean it before we got in. They did it with no hesitation. The only downside was the restaurant at the hotel being pricey but you have an amazing view and the staff was so welcoming. Would recommend this hotel for couples and families

The property was incredible, the views were amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the only downfall was the busy restaurant in front of the rooms, hard to enjoy a peaceful night in the hot tub with a restaurant right in front, otherwise I highly recommend all of it. The hotel is set very well in the middle of the island and I was able to get around the whole island in 3 days

Todo fue excelente, la gente del hotel fue muy amable, sobre todo john, un camarero español. Las vistas son espectaculares, el desayuno muy completo y el jacuzzi estuvo genial. La zona es bastante tranquila y no esta tan abarrotada como Oia, 100% recomendable.

A very confused venue. It is a bar,hotel and rooms but is confused about what it really is...and it feels it. The room we had was quite a walk down a hill to another building, which doesn't relate to the main building. It felt isolated and lonely. The Buddha Bar tries to be cool and trendy but it isn't. We had booked and paid for 4 days but left after 2. The area itself is terrific . Away from the ship hoards and a communal feel, with some good cafes .

The location of the hotel is perfect, the view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. Eri is adorable, helpful and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, but narrow and very dark because the location does not allow the shutters to be opened (since the rooms overlook the courtyard and stairs) - similar to a Riad but you would expect more from a 5 star in Santorini. The accommodation swimming pool is very good and quieter than the one in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast offers a breathtaking view of the caldera, although it is insufficient for a hotel of this standard (fruit or egg, with a basket of rolls). The staff is nevertheless very welcoming, a big thank you to Kostas who gave us many ideas and advice for visits.
