Nice hotel. A good experience in the japanese stile room. The food was also nice and with many options.

It might have not been clearly mentioned but there is no air-conditioning provided, only central heating. During my time there, weather was cold out so the room only had 3 levels, low heat, medium heat and high heat. There is no way to sleep in those conditions and it took me a while to realize because the receptionist on the help desk phone did not speak English, so I went down to the lobby past midnight to ask the only staff available. Through some help on google translate and his hand gestures, I was told that I had to leave my windows open to let cold air into the room. This was not explained at any point during the check-in so I guess that's the downside for foreigners wanting to stay here. There's also a hot spring tax you have to pay when you check out. All things considered Jozankei is not a big town so everything is accessible and the hotel is generally comfortable otherwise.

We stayed in Japanese style room type was so nice. The outdoor onsen was great and excited for me. Breakfast had a lot of food and good testy. The restaurant was good as well. The staffs gave many information for us. Love it!

The hotel is very big and provides unlimited snacks. There is a very good onsen. Breakfast, dinner, dinner, lots and lots of splendor.

The hotel is old, but it is well-cleaned and not uncomfortable. The mountain in front of the hotel was beautiful. If I had to say one thing, it was unpleasant to see the foreign staff tidying up right in front of me during dinner. They were just throwing trash everywhere!! I was shocked. I asked for all-you-can-drink, but they said "please wait a moment" but there was no response, so 30 minutes wasted. Even so, I couldn't believe my eyes at the long line for food. I think they need to spread out the food a bit more. They didn't seem to understand that foreign tourists were told that drinks were charged for, so they kept filling up the buffet with juice. It would have been nice if juice had been part of the buffet.

Very good hot spring hotel. Especially suitable for travelers like us who don't speak Japanese. There is a bus to pick us up at the north gate of JR station at 2pm (by appointment) and return at 10am the next day. The hotel has good hot springs, many pools and good environment. The buffet in the morning and evening is very rich. The room is spacious and clean, with a bathtub.

Buffet dinner and buffet breakfast are the best. The facilities are a bit old but clean. I liked the large hot spring bath that was open 24 hours a day.

The building is old 🤭 But the bath is one of the best in Hokkaido's three major hot springs 😊 The carp streamers straddling the river behind the hotel are a sight to behold 😊 And what's more, you can make your own hot spring* in the river 😋

I had a very comfortable stay, but the check-out process was very unpleasant. The person was a Japanese man who wore a plate during training, but the moment I turned my back from the counter, he acted like he was sighing. Also, when I received the receipt without being friendly from start to finish, it was my first time using the service, so I didn't know if there were any other procedures that I needed to do, so I guess that's it. When I asked her about it, she said something like, "Isn't it obvious?" which made me feel very uncomfortable. Other than that, I had a very comfortable time.

The hotel is very nice, neat and clean. The staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel's breakfast and dinner buffet options are diverse and delicious. The hot spring is very large and can accommodate many people.

The meals are not exquisite enough, there is no local specialties, the rooms are older and there are few plugs.

The rooms and facilities in this hotel are very old. There is a lot of strange smell in the room. The bed is unacceptable for being used as a quilt! The promised FOOT SPA is not available, and there are no towels provided in the large bath, which is very inconvenient for guests!

The buffet in the morning and evening was good. There were a lot of items and it was satisfying to eat. It was easy to eat because the empty Sarara was cleaned up right away.

It was a buffet style meal, but it was very high quality and delicious. However, the room is old and has holes in the walls and peeling ceiling paper, so it doesn't feel clean.
