2-Star Hotels in Savannah

Previously we've saved money by staying outside the city of Savanah, but never again. This hotel was right near the river walk area. No need to pay for parking and so nice to walk right from the hotel to the restaurants and shops along the river. Can be tricky to find as the sign is not easily seen.

I was so pleased with everything about the Hampton Inn & Suites in the Historic District in Savannah. It was so conveniently located. Easy in and out if the city. Close to The Grey and next to the trolley tour companies. But the biggest selling point to the hotel in my opinion is the public spaces. Beautiful lobby and dining room. Thank you,

Staff was amazing. They’re super friendly, helpful and are available at all times. If it wasn’t for them, I’d probably give 2 stars. Pros: - wifi worked well and was fast - location is great as everything you need/want (restaurants, shops, the historic district) is within walking distance - A/C worked well - mini fridge in the room Cons: - walls are paper THIN: our neighbors came home late and woke up early and were very loud anyway, but even when they just talked normally we could hear every word, so we couldn’t sleep at all the first night - the inn is right next to the road so the cars and buses aren’t quiet either during the night - the inn is rather outdated (retro sound better, I admit)—it’d really need a facelift - room 205 is terrible as it’s right next to the staircase which means a constant traffic of people coming and going to/from their rooms - bed was too soft and the pillows too thick - breakfast is included but it’s only donuts (and although they’re delicious, calling them a breakfast is a bit of a stretch) and coffee/tea

Stayed for 3 nights. Clean and spacious room-had a top floor facing the river which was very quiet and highly recommend. There is a lot of truck traffic to the front of the building (basically a highway). Excellent staff at front desk (Val) and Dori at conciege. Close to historical areas, especially the Riverside Plant area and the City Market. Had no issues with parking. Good breakfast. Swam in the pool. Overall, highly recommend and would definitely return.

The hotel is located in the historic district of Savannah, across the street from the famous tourist souvenir street river st, and behind the hotel is the historic district of Savannah and the large and small garden square...

The gps took us to the wrong Quality inn. Be sure to enter the street address instead of clicking from the ”directions” tab. We arrived late, Room was ok, bed ok .No stopper in the tub to fill it for a soak, but shower only was ok with me. The bathroom door had a hole knocked in it, and the bottom was delaminating. All in all ok for one night .

After playing for three weeks in the United States, all the way to live is the Youth Hostel and airbnb. In Savannah, a small town without a green trip, for a variety of reasons, it only had to spend the ”high price” on the last night to live the only hotel, but after the comparison, the price of Ctrip was cheaper than the foreign website, and the apple pay was reduced by 30. The hotel itself is located in downtown down the river street, service, facilities, health I think very good, check out at 5:30 in the morning also let me have breakfast, is the best free breakfast for this trip.

Enjoyed the stay on very short notice. The hotel is fairly new, close to I-95, and near a good restaurant. The front desk people were very friendly. Definitely will be returning.

The small town of Savannah is retro and elegant, with a long history and a developed catering and tourism industry. I stayed at the BW Hotel for a week, and the neighbors all travelled with families, basically staying on a weekly basis. The breakfast is simple, with scrambled eggs, milk, coffee, sausage, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit and cakes. Parking is free, there is a swimming pool, and many people drink tea and chat in the two halls inside. The price of the hotel is reasonable, but there is no elevator. You need to carry your bag upstairs. If you live on the first floor, it doesn’t matter, the highest building is the second floor. It is very close to the air force base, and during the day you can see bombers roaring by. The front desk service attitude is very good, happy and generous. The travel brochure on the first floor has everything. I found a local restaurant with a long history, King and I Thai restaurant, and Japanese cuisine. The hotel can store luggage, take a taxi to downtown for about 15 minutes, Lyft software $12 Uber $15. There are super cheap discount stores nearby, surprise. Ask Forrest Gump for the same money; drink local coffee; chat with the chattering southerners...
