We have stayed here before in 2008 and it hasn’t changed at all. The room we stayed in (no. 12) was immaculately clean ( and I’m very fussy). The bed was super comfy as were the pillows. The rooms have everything you need even a washing machine. The only thing was you don’t see any staff at all which I found a little impersonal as last time they were very friendly and bought toys for our toddler. I would stay again though as it’s clean and comfortable for the price.

This complex is centrally located in close proximity to bay and many good restaurants and coffee shops. The unit we stayed in was well equipped and spotlessly clean. This is a self check in property but any staff we encountered were well presented and very friendly. Will stay again.

Excellent value. Room was clean with everything you could possibly need. Very happy. Check in was very easy with keys waiting for us. Recommend room No. 6 for two people, it has been recently refurbished and was perfect for a couple. Would like to come again.

We booked a family room. An excellent size Queen bed in a proper bedframe in one bedroom and two firm single beds in another room. Vwery clean and well set up room with a good kitchenette.The lounge room had two large sofas. You can tell this is an old motel but it's been given an update that made it very comfortable. Definitley would come back again. Close to everything we needed in Harvey Bay.

One of the worst, no... The worst check in experience ever. Check in through a machine in the wall. Very impersonal and no greating or welcome. Just like a McDonald's order system. 1st bad experience! No air conditioning in the bedroom. Only the living/kitchen area. 2nd bad experience. Keep in mind this is December. Nice location though the hotel has noting to do with that. Would not recommend this unless you are a robot or have phobias in talking to people.

Nice location,shame about the mould. We stayed 2 nights at different times, before and after our trip to K'Gari (Fraser Island). Our first night we contacted the manager to advise him of Black mould on the bedroom ceiling. He told us he was quite surprised and that it was probably due to the rain. He assured us that the room on our return visit was one of their best. Well he was correct in stating the room had been painted, such a shame they didn't throw out the mouldy lamps and maybe wash or dry clean the very mouldy curtains. Every surface was sticky and we were reluctant to sit in the couches. We found the electronic check-in impersonal and the road noisy. On the up side the the apartments are very spacios and the kitchens have everything you need. Location is great and Scarness has plenty to offer.
