My wife and I took our family here. We will never make that mistake again. We were in suite 614. One Ac unit did not work. The other had a smell like something was dying in it. The pullout couch had no sheets. The bathroom was disgusting with hair in the tub. We had trouble getting into the room because the room locks were not working. The fitness center equipment kept turning off because they were all plugged into one outlet. The door to the fitness center would not open unless you got a front desk person to open it up. The card key and lock did not work on those doors. The pool had hair and urine on the tiles. The fitness center and pool did not open up till 2 on the weekends. The food for breakfast was ok. We did not have enough towels in our room. My wife asked housekeeping for more and was told no. There is no more towels. We would have to wait till later. The front desk staff during the day could care less if you had a problem. When checking out my wife shared how bad the experience was and the only response the front desk lady had was… have a good day.

This was my first time staying in Secaucus as my friends with me told me the area was great. I booked the Residence Inn and you cannot go wrong with the location. Places to eat, shop, bus across to NYC around the corner. The staff are top notch. Checking in the woman we checked in through was awesome. So friendly and personable. The room was awesome. Full kitchen, sectional couch that pulled out to a bed and a King Size bed. Washroom was spacious I really enjoyed the kitchen. We hit Walmart down the street and grabbed stuff so we didn't have to always be out places to eat. Clean room, AC was spot on. The free breakfast was great too. There is a Chili's and a bar Hoolihan's right outside of the hotel. Overall you really cannot go wrong with any Marriott brands. I will definitely be back

Definitely the best hotel in secaucus and definitely one of the best in all of NJ. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus/Meadowlands

The website said that there was a restaurant on site which there is not. Given the location, it’s a pain to have to go out for dinner. There was one Italian place that delivered and was actually pretty good. TV did not get all the channels on the guide. I needed something printed which I could not get done. Room was average. I was upgraded as a Hilton diamond member but nothing special. Staff was very friendly but just apologetic and not problem solvers.

Free parking is very convenient, and there are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot behind the hotel. When you arrive in downtown New York, take NJ transit (it is best to download the APP of the same name to view the route and pay) bus No. 320 at the hotel entrance. After arriving in New York, transfer to a public bus or New York subway, and you can reach the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan in 60 minutes. The breakfast selection is good. The room is cleaned upon request. If you don't want to clean and tip every day, you don't need to ask for daily cleaning. I left a tip on the last day before leaving. After all, it is a tipping country, so I have to adapt.
