Richmond Ephesus Resort - All Inclusive

The hotel has sandy beaches, but the beaches and seawater are average. The swimming pool is good. More than 80% of the hotel's guests are seniors. Staying in the hotel for two nights seems to be living in a nursing home! The bathroom in the guest room was smelly, and the spray head was not easy to use. I called the front desk for two toothbrushes and didn't deliver it until I checked out. There are many buffets, but too few are suitable for Chinese stomachs.

We booked this holiday last minute, and from the moment we got there, we felt very welcome. Sara checked us in, and as I wanted an upgraded room, Sara called her manager over to give us a good price, which he did. After we accepted the price within 30 minutes our room was ready. After check in Zeki took our cases to our room and said to us ”if you have any problems, please come and see me”. After we sorted our luggage we then went and booked our a la carte restaurants. You only get to choose one resturant per 7 night stay, and the guy gave us two to choose from (he was in guest services, but he was extremely helpful). Our holiday just got better and better. The food was amazing, the restaurant staff couldn't be more helpful. My boy went to the kids club nearly every day and Melissa looked after him, and gave him lots of attention and loved being around him. My boy loved being there everyday, as they made it fun. The aquapark was great fun with lots to do, but also there was lots to do at the hotel. It catered for everyone, and there was loads we still hadn't done. We went to Yucca live where Mario (at the Aquapark entrance), arranged for us to get a free taxi to the town center where we ate in ”Yucca Live”, where there was entertainment and lovely food, he was amazing. There were also loads of shops all open until 2am selling top branded clothes at cheap prices (you know what I mean 😉). We spent loads on clothes but had a great time especially when I had to sit on my suitcase to close it!. We went into the spa where me and my boy had a Turkish bath and my misses who is pregnant had an Indian head massage...all for only £70!. Minibar was stocked daily, and if you wanted more water you only had to ask. I have so much to write but don't want to bore anyone reading this. I've been to 15 countries around the world and me and my partner both agreed this is one of the best holidays we have had. We will definitely be back next year. In terms of currency, you can take Turkish Lira, Euros, and alot of places also take Sterling GBP. We personally used Euros. I want to say a special thank you to the following people that made our holiday even more amazing, and we will look forward to seeing you again next year. Please keep doing what your doing, your doing amazing!! ☆ Sara (Reception) ☆ Fatih (Front Desk Manager) ☆ Melissa (Kids club) ☆ Guest services staff ☆ Mario (Yucca Live) Cleaniness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Facilities ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We checked in on Friday evening. The dinner is not included to the room rate but it is fine we had a nice experience, the food was delicious. Our room was on where the pool was, and located on the upper floor. The room was clean. On Saturday morning we had breakfast and it was good as well. We found out that the hotel part is rented and operated by some other people. In the afternoon we had the wine tasting which was again enjoyable. During the tasting we saw a police car and then when we asked about the situation we were informed by the waiter that some afgan refugees were seen in hotel area where our room was located. This was not a nice feeling for us and we felt a bit uncomfortable but not so suprised because it is not a gated community. At night when we returned from dinner we entered our room and as soon as we turned on the lights we saw 3 bats. We went crazy! Called the reception asap but it took minutes for someone to come to check the room. And when he came in he has informed that bat was seen in another room before which is totally not my problem!!! Then we asked for another room and again it tooks minutes for him to find the lady who deals with the reservations. Then he told us that they can find a room in one of their hotels in Selcuk-İzmir. We did not accept it and we found a place for ourselves in DoubleTree Hilton. When we were checking out the lady asked us to pay for 2 nights (we were going to stay for 2 nights) and of course we did not accept it and paid only for 1 night and left! They did not even apologize for the situation! It was very unprofessional! I will never again stay in this hotel and will never recommend it to my friends! If you want to go and taste the wine and have dinner that’s OK because we were tokd that the real owners of the YediBilgeler are responsible for those services! It was again very rude of the lady who is at the reception to ask for 2 nights fare and not even apologize for once!
