Hotels near Masjid Ki Ageng Pandanaran, Semarang

I had my stay on 28 - 30 October. Overll the check in process was smooth and the room is comfort. The disaster happened on the next day when I went down for breakfast at 6:20 in the morning. I understand the bfast started from 6 am and the reason I went dow at 6:20 was to avoid the crowd and to select the seats we wanted. There was not many waitress in charge I have to call them for tea and coffee. The duration of waiting for coffee and tea ws about 30 mins until I have to contact them again and again. The weird things that there was nobody incharge in Semarangan section and Dimsum section and Roti Kukus Section ( I took the photo attached). I even asked the staffs what time the staff arrived and start serve the guests. One of the staffs said that some of them were still prepared the breakfast and the manager was not stand by also in the restaurant. It was terrible experience for 5 star hotel like Tentrem. On fact I had enjoyable and memorable stay and experience when I stayed at Padma Semarang on the previous stay. The staffs esp in the restaurant are more attentive and details. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly towards us. The hotel's location was also extremely strategic, right in the heart of the city, making it quite convenient to travel anywhere. This is a hotel I highly recommend for families, business trips, and more.

One of the best hotel in semarang , really friendly and helpfull staff , the waiters are so friendly , the foods are excellent taste and good room , the hotel is so clean , for sure will come back someday... Novotel semarang is recommended for travellers

Excellent hotel right in the heart of the city. Very convenient location. I stayed there for two nights and I would say my stay was quite pleasant. Sapcious rooms with a large sized double bed. I mean large double bed! The staff is quite polite, helpful and courteous. Specifically the Lobby / Restaurant Manager - Ms Octa. Octa helped me with lot of things right from the breakfast in the morning to get a cup of Hot Latte all the way to guiding me for the evening walkaround. On day I was to leave she suggested to get my breakfast packed as I was to leave early. Thanks much Octa for your kind help and guidance! Hope to see you next time I am in Semarang! The check in / check Out was hassle free. I would highly recommend if this is within your budget.

it's perfect, even better than a regular five star hotel, service is great, lobby is fabulous, breakfast is outrageous abundant, room is nice, the view is pool view which I.deeply regret not choosing the first floor room which can own a entrance to the poor.

Good value for money. I booked 3 rooms. One of the non-smoking room smells like smoke, but the hotel switched it with another room, so problem was resolved pretty quickly. The hotel has sufficient selection of the ala carte food menu, it was freshly made therefor it tooks sometime. Great service 10/10 everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a small swimming pool, located outdoor with shades, next to the restaurant. Perfecr for family with small kids

I've stayed for 2 nights on my staycation in Semarang. Room is clean, tidy and comfy, but there are some spots on the towel. Also the spray jet valve were leaks, so I got to turn it on/off during using it. I like the breakfast menu, quite variative choice and tastes goods. The sky pool was fresh in the morning, but don't forget to applied sun block on your skin. Overall is good for an affordable price.

There was a ball room on the 2 floor and it was a karaoke battle until 24 o'clock at night. The sound echoed in the room because it was on the 3 floor that stayed. If it is not, it is a star 5. 15 minutes by taxi to the airport. The room is clean and has a dryer.

Just once enough to stay here plus point - its location is strategic, on the runway, suitable for transit or those who need a place to stay if visiting Tugurejo RSUD. - The price is quite cheap, below 1 with OTA or 2 direct minus points - noisy, the window doesn't seem to have the rubber precision so the sound from outside entering - the room is less neat / clean - the bathroom smells bad - the sheets and the blankets are covered - the towel is already - in our room 503 at night lighting trouble turned back erased, finally moved to room 510 - room 510 is right above the waste storage place 1 hospital (infectious wastage) Very regretful because the location is dangerous. waste storage standard 1 hospital is placed far from the patient's room but turned out just as far as the hotel room, sad.

This is a clean and nice hotel, located a bit far from Simpang Lima Semarang. The room is nice, with hot water flowing, no smoking odor room, and cool AC. However the hotel reservation system through the MyHorison website, needs more improvement. When I made a reservation through the MyHorison website, I didn't receive a confirmation number through my email, but only three lines messages confirming that I have successfully make the reservation (without mentioning the confirmation number) and a suggestion to contact a whatsapp number if I hadn't receive another email confirming my payment after 30 minutes. Waited for more than 30 mins, I didn't receive the confirmation number, then I contacted the whatsapp number plus whatsapp number of this specific hotel. They need hours to send me my room reservation confirmation number, and when they finally did, the confirmation showed my reservation was ”unpaid” (while actually I did pay the room using my credit card). On the check-in date, I gave the print out of the short email and the room confirmation with unpaid status to the receptionist. She took picture of those papers, and asked for a certain number from me, which I didn't have, so I gave her an sms message from my credit card that showed I have paid the transaction. She took picture of my sms from my mobile phone and finalized the process, and gave me the key to my room. From this story you can learn that the reservation process until I got my room was very very painful and stressful. This hotel definitely has to learn from other hotel on how to upgrade their technology for their painless reservation process.
