We will disseminate information about ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” in Kakunodate-cho, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture. I stayed at ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” from April 22nd to 24th, 2023. ”Hotel Folkloro Kakudate” is a series of hotels of ”JR East Hotels”, adjacent to JR ”Kakudate Station”, and is a short distance of 30 m on foot from the entrance and exit of the station. Breakfast is free and parking is free. There are only 9 parking lots, but if they are full, they will guide you to the nearby free parking lot. Also, all rooms are Wi-Fi compatible, and even if you forget your mobile phone charger, they will be lent to you at the front desk. The room is kept clean and gives a good impression. Since it is adjacent to JR ”Kakunodate Station”, I was worried that I would be worried about the sound of the train, but I could sleep well without worrying about the noise of the train at all. It is access to the essential Kakunodate ”Samurai residence”, but it takes about 14 minutes on foot to reach the nearest samurai residence ”Onoda family” in Higashishorakucho, and it takes about 1100 m. On the street leading to the samurai residence, I arrived in no time when I saw a birch shop, a souvenir shop, a Oyakodon shop, etc. You can reach the cherry blossom tunnel on the Kiuchi River embankment in 20 minutes on foot, and about 2000 m. The best location in front of the station is within walking distance to tourist attractions. Also, you can go to see the cherry blossoms and the illumination of the samurai residence at night and miss dinner. In the hotel, there was a restaurant, a tea house ”Sakura Komachi”, and there were plenty of menus such as Inaniwa Udon, Hinai Chicken Oyakodon, Okariba Yaki, and Kamiyo curry. However, the hotel does not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage to your room by hand. This trip was a large suitcase for foreign travel because I had a lot to wear considering the cold. I want a service that hotel employees will help me. I had a pretty heavy thought and took my suitcase to 2F. 01_ [One bite note] ⑴ Location ... 〒014-0368 Nakasuzawa, Kakudate CHO, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture 14−14 Telephone ... 0187-53-2070 ⑵ Check-in Out ① Check-in ... 15:00 ② Check-out ... 11:00 ⑶ Parking ... 9 (free) When full, guide to the nearby free parking lot ⑷ Facilities ... Stayed one night on the last day of the tour. It was mentioned as the best S-ranked hotel. The room was a Japanese-style room with a low bed and was gentle on my knees. The bath was large, and there was nothing to block the front of the open-air bath. Meals are Japanese at table seats in a non-crowded space, both at night and in the morning. It was delicious.

We stayed on a free tour of 2 nights and 3 days from a travel agency. It is a simple tour of Shinkansen and accommodation. Currently, a round-trip transfer from Morioka Station to the hotel, which costs 200 yen one way, was also included. However, when I took the transfer bus to Morioka City on the second day, it cost 200 yen one way. Since there is only one train departing from Morioka Station at 3:00 pm, if you want to play a little more, you will use the fixed-route bus, but in that case it was 630 yen from Morioka Station. This route bus takes about 35 minutes because it passes through AEON Mall and Morioka Tezukuri Village. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the end point of the connection hot spring to the hotel, but when you arrive, you will pick you up when you call. This is free. The entrance to the hotel is on the second floor, but there is a large lobby overlooking the Gosho Lake spreading in front of you. Here, although it stops by the season, Sansa Odori is held every night from 8:15 pm to 25 minutes. The preservation society changes daily, so the dance and drums are different, and you can enjoy it every night, which is very powerful. From 3 pm, you can enjoy coffee and tea, orange juice and ice candy as a welcome drink in the lobby. Ice is also a vendor, so I could use it for drinking in the room. The hot spring has a large communal bath three times, and it is good here, but the hot water of the southern bend house on the second floor was good. You can enjoy two types of hot water on a daily basis from 5 am to 10 pm. The architecture is also great. The meal was included in the tour, but it was very delicious unlike the two nights. Breakfast is a buffet, but there are many local dishes (hitsumi soup, Morioka soba, Jaja noodles, etc.). As for the guest rooms, all rooms have lake views, but it seems better to go upstairs. In a 12 tatami Japanese-style room, there are about 3 tatami mats by the window and a table space. There was an independent toilet and a large washbasin, and there was a room bath, but I didn't use it because there was a hot spring.

There are several kinds of bathtubs in the public bath, and several kinds of bathtubs in the open-air bath in another place, and it is an inn that can enjoy the hot spring while enjoying the hot spring. Which is next? I think it is good for my family because it seems that the pleasure of this is only joy for my child. The meal was chosen in the morning and evening, but all of them were very good and very satisfied. The staff at the Viking venue was very happy to work, and I was able to eat with a pleasant feeling. The room is not particularly good or not, but it is kept clean and perfect. At the check-in stage, the room has a futon, and it is very comfortable when you want to go to the meal after arriving and taking a bath. I thought it was quite clever.

Kakunodate is famous for historical old samurai residences are preserved and sometimes called Little Kyoto in North Japan. Kayokan opened in April, 1997 as a new place of interest. It is located in the quiet, rich greens and 15 minutes by car from the center of town. Please enjoy the time in our Ryokan with warm hospitality where true nature lives.

There is a distance from kankakukan station, but there is a transfer bus every 1 hour from 13:30, and it is convenient because the big luggage is carried to the inn first, and the return is sent to the station. The staff is very good. In the past, it was a city facility and now it is a three-sex management. It is said that the old name is ”Hideko sho”. The hot spring is a stream and there are many day trip users, but the bathroom is large and relaxing including the open-air bath. Is there no meal or no meal?

It is an inn with a large hot spring. The hot spring is indoors, but it was a high-ceiling building with thick log pillars, and it was a large communal bath with an atmosphere. There is a restaurant in the building with hot spring facilities. The restaurant is also comfortable with high ceilings. There are a wide variety of sake from Akita Prefecture, and the food was very delicious. The Chinese food was plentiful and I had green pepper shredded meat, but it was very delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes and local dishes.

There is an inn at "Tsunagi Onsen" along Lake Gosho near Koiwai Farm. You can see Mt. Iwate on the lakeside, but unfortunately it is located in the back of the mountain, so you cannot see Lake Gosho from the inn. It was a calm 3-story Japanese-style inn, and it was a reasonable size, and it was very easy to move around the dining area and bath. The selected room has a bed, so it's nice to be able to lie down right away! The supper you are looking for is kaiseki cuisine, which also comes with shell sea urchin! It's not a private room, but the Heian period? It was partitioned into. I was able to enjoy it slowly and very deliciously. The temperature of the bath was so good that it wasn't lukewarm, and the open air surrounded by trees was slowly created. The service and greetings of the employees are also comfortable, and it has become a ryokan that I definitely recommend.

I went to kakukan several times, but I stayed here for the first time. There were not many rooms, no group guests, and it was a quiet and relaxing hotel. The bath can get a free ticket (2 times) of the nearby ”kakunoda Onsen”. The most happy thing was to go to the room clothes! I was very happy with this service because it was troublesome to go in my clothes, take a bath slowly, and return to the hotel in my clothes. I received breakfast in the dining room. It would be natural. . . The rice was delicious. The side dishes were delicious. The building was a Japanese style based on black, which seemed to be the black wall of the samurai residence in kakukan, but it was nice with a modern feeling somewhere. The only regret is that I have to go up the stairs and go to the room, so I have to carry my luggage. But the staff helped me so I was saved.

Today, I was sightseeing Morioka from Aizu Wakamatsu and booked a convenient inn for kakukan the next day. When I crossed Lake Gosho by prefectural route 288 via Morioka City National route 46, I saw a large vermilion hotel, and the time required was about 30 minutes. It is said that there is a bus transfer from Morioka station. The lobby was luxurious and the Japanese room was not able to stand, so it was large with the force room and it was crowded with Nikko and Aizu Wakamatsu, so it was slow. The bath was also good with few people when we took a bath, and the open public bath and stall bath of 25 meters up to Northeast Northeast were large and good. Breakfast was rich in Viking form and overeating. The accommodation was also good to be able to choose by use.

The next day, I stayed at Mt.Mitsuishi to climb the autumn leaves. Because I chose a cheap plan, it was a room without a bus on the cliff side of the east building. The room itself was spacious and there was no problem with the view from the outside terrace. The hot spring is a little far from the main building's ”Taishaku no Yu: 40-42 degrees”, but it's good enough for a stomach before dinner. I went to ”Hakusen no Yu: 42-44 degrees” in the East Building before breakfast, but it wasn't that hot and I felt comfortable. Steak and tempura seemed to be popular at the dinner buffet. Well, the material is so-so, so it was reasonable, but I was satisfied. I set the time to 17:45, but quite a few people had already eaten. Of the three major noodles in Iwate, there was one other than Wanko soba. I had Morioka cold noodles and Morioka jaja noodles (udon). The jaja noodles were more chewy and I liked it. The nostalgic suiton-like souvenir was also delicious. The starry sky looked beautiful, so I participated in the star night from 20:00. When I left the lobby, I had the staff explain various things while looking at the stars in the sky, and it was easy to understand. There were only 6 people, but if the weather is fine at this location, I'd like you to participate. It's free. After the end, I walked to the front of the lift platform, lay down on the bench, and enjoyed the starry sky. I think it would be more beautiful in winter. The next morning, the sea of clouds spread out and it was spectacular. Breakfast starts at 7:00, but there were many people who went out to climb mountains, so there was a line even before it opened. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of products, and the Koiwai Farm milk and freshly baked bread were popular. I went to the Omatsukura gate parking lot at 8:00 for my planned climb to Mt. I gave up and changed to a walking route after climbing the lift, so I went back to the hotel and received a discount ticket for the lift. 2,000 yen round trip for 3 lifts is now 1,500 yen. There was a coin laundry probably for skiers. I didn't use it because it was my first night, but I am grateful to climbers.
