Hotel Pearl City Sendai Reviews

The hotel was simple, and the front staff were very friendly, and though the room was clean, it was one of the smallest I have stayed at. It seems to be quite an old hotel, but it’s nicely kept and the location is really good. Several convenience stores close by, and the Sendai station is also an walking distance. The lack of amenities was a disappointment, and during a pouring rain there were no umbrellas available, which was a downer. Having said that, I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel if it’s available during my trip (I do travel to Sendai regularly) Sorry I didn’t take photos… I was quite busy during my stay…

After reading some reviews, I was wary about the stay, but it exceeded my expectations for its price point. It was clean enough, near tons of dining options but yet quiet enough, and the wifi worked very well for me and I was able to do my work (2h video call).

Decent room for the price. Felt a bit old but it was clean. Had all necessary amenities and close to the shoppijg street. Good for stops while travelling.

Simple, clean, cheap hotel, located generally in the center of the city. A no frills kinda hotel, but I guess that's all you're looking for half the time. I have no complaints. If the price is right, I would stay at again. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad - neutral (which is positive, when it comes to hotel stays).

It's close to the shopping street. It's easy to get to Sendai Station. The sightseeing bus is right next to it. It's really convenient. You don't have to worry about convenience stores and dining. The JR and subway are right next to it. The local public facilities are suitable for moving luggage.

It's a little far from the station and very close to Ichibancho. The receptionist at the counter will use a translator to communicate with you. However, there is no place to eat in the lobby. You can only eat in the room. There is a microwave that you can use.

The room, if I may say so, was not so good. However, the breakfast was delicious. I think it is a cheap accommodation with breakfast included.

It was about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, so it felt a little far away. If you use the subway, I think it's convenient because there is a Tozai Line station nearby. It was also convenient because there was a convenience store nearby. Unfortunately, the shower curtain was moldy and the bathroom had a slightly moldy smell. The bed was a triple room, and I was able to sleep soundly until morning without having to fight with my child who usually sleeps with me, so I was very grateful. The price was reasonable and I was able to relax. I was interested in the shampoo bar, but I think it would have been more helpful if they had explained it to me at check-in. I didn't really understand it, so I noticed it at check-out and I was a little disappointed that I didn't want to try it. Due to my schedule, I only had a room-only plan, but the food looked delicious, so I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again.

The transportation is convenient and there are many restaurants nearby, but the facilities are really old.
