Excellent Resort/Hotel, Management, Staff and facilities. In all 8 Years I have been in The Gambia in several Resorts, Hotels, Apartments, Luxe Lodges, this is the Best, number one for me. The Garden is marvellous too and the swimming pool is Best ever seen, same for the Room. Excellent wuality, nice style and so nice to relaxe. I am realy impressed

En relación a precio hotel recomendado, el personal es muy amable y muy educados, a veces falla la energía y por ende los aires acondicionados pero ellos lo solucionan al momento nada del otro mundo, volvería sin problemas, los chicos de la seguridad y recepción siempre atentos y educados

The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much selection to choice from. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and the bed was reaaly comfortable, both mattress and pillows. Hot shower, great air con and a nice bar to have a drink and meet other people. The restaurant was nice but food choices limited

Zwembad was groen, pomp kan het water niet schoonmaken. Was al maanden bekend maar toch verhuren. ook zijn drie van de vijf zwembaden voor de dieren. Bedden zijn slecht en huisjes vol met spinragge. Overal ligt vuil rond om het zwembad van kipbotjes tot pauwenpoep. In de broodrooster zat een rat heerlijk te eten van de boordkruimels en het personeel wordt zeer onaardig als je er iets van zegt. veel gasten ziek tijdens ons verblijf. je mag ook geen eigen water en voedsel mee naar binnen nemen.

Bij aankomst werkten tv, kluis en airco niet. De batterijen van de toestellen waren volledig leeg. Een ijskastje was er niet, nochtans geen luxe in die warmte. Bij het ontbijt moest je alles vragen. Er werd enkel bijgevuld als je er om vroeg. De keuze was ook zeer beperkt. In de bar konden ze van de 16 voorgestelde cocktails slechts 2 maken. Er waren teveel ontbrekende dranken. Dit was zo van de eerste tot de vijfde dag. De bevolking in Gambia is arm en bijgevolg zéér opdringerig. Je kan niet rustig wandelen zonder continu aangeklampt te worden, waardoor je uiteindelijk niet meer buitenkomt. Na 5 dagen is mijn vrouw haar papa in België gestorven en dienden we vlugger terug te keren. Bij thuiskomst hebben we het hotel een 6 op 10 gegeven met dezelfde review als hierboven geschreven. Toen we voor de verzekering een annulatie factuur vroegen, weigerde het hotel deze te geven vanwege onze ‘slechte’ review!!! Wij zouden andere en klantvriendelijke hotels aanraden!
