I traveled with my teenage daughter and we had the best vacation of my life, the hotel staff was fantastic and very friendly, the buffet was well stocked and everything was hot and ready, the rooms were very clean although the furniture was not very modern, it was all young people and kids on an end-of-year trip, so if you want peace of mind, ask for one of the buildings higher up in the hotel complex, they have entertainers and little shops inside...I liked it, I recommend it

The hotel is lovely and relaxing, the staff are so helpful and can’t do enough for you. When we arrived for our short 3 night break we were greeted by a very polite lady. We were a little early so we left our luggage in the locked up baggage room. We then went to our room which overlooked the pool and everything was in great order. The beds are very comfy and the air con is fantastic. Due to this being an adult hotel, it was very peaceful around the pool and no need for the rush of towels on beds, anytime of day is good as they also have their rooftop pool and bar which plays music all day. The breakfast was really good, so much choice even down to the choice drinks, yoghurt, fruit! Thank you for a great time and we will definitely return here with my partner!

I booked my mid week 4 day solo break a few weeks before holidaying at Hotel Iris & was pleasantly surprised I chose to hop onto a bus the no: A2 located outside the airport which took me on a 25 minute trip straight to Hotel Iris I was fortunate to be given room 216 overlooking the pool & had the most comfortable bed You have to ask reception for the TV remote control & we’re really helpful with other queries I had I noticed the water in the pool was tested during my stay & the pool bar was always clean with sufficient sun loungers.. hence I did pick up a piece of glass on one occasion Breakfast catered for all nationalities & consisted of eggs, bacon, toast, pasties & cereals My room was cleaned each morning with the maid leaving fresh towels each time Reception staff were also polite & really helpful I took a bus to Palma aquarium which I felt was slightly pricey £27 adult on entry + the cost of lunch in the restaurant My visit took the whole of 3 hrs to get around hence it was interesting especially the whale cinema Overall my stay was an enjoyable one, simple clean & just what I was hoping for When getting ready to leave I noticed separate groups of men & woman arriving to the hotel who were noisy So unsure if Hotel Iris would be suitable for young families. The hotel was clean and fresh....... Food was average.... But that was the only good thing about it! From the outset we were dropped off at the bottom of the road, not having a clue where we were going, as coaches can rarely access the hotel on the narrow road - be prepared to drag yourself uphill with your luggage! Predominantly German or Dutch guests, the staff spoke very poor English and didn't understand half of our questions! The receptionist gentleman was very abrupt and rude, not helpful at all. We weren't told about any of the available amenities, no information in the rooms either which wasn't good!! The pool looked like it had an oil slick over for 3 days and was too cold to swim in, we weren't told where the indoor pool was. The rooms were small, but the balcony was even smaller, not good if you are afraid of heights as they were glass fronted! The fuse box which buzzed all night was loud and the aircon which switched itself on and off regularly also kept you awake. The pool bar served a small selection of drinks, but most had to be sent down from the main bar, you couldn't pay for them, it was added to your room tab, which annoyed people. The holiday stated you could watch the chef cook your food, but only if you ate what they were cooking at the time!! This hotel lacked the 4 star rating it had been given, we have stayed in better 3 star hotels, my advise to English traveller - there are better places to stay so find somewhere else!!

The Front Desk Staff was Amazing and very friendly. It’s an Awesome Hotel with 3 Pools and gated access right to the front ***** and beach. The Staff at Breakfast and Dinner was on top form and so very friendly and got to know us all. Thank you to all staff for making the stay Amazing and coupled with a Brilliant Hotel, it could not have been better 5 Stars. A Massive Thanks to everyone at Dunas Blancas and we will be back soon.

Contrary to the reviews, we found this hotel to be really good and had a lovely stay there. The place was very clean everywhere, the staff very friendly, the rooms clean, smart and well furnished with modern furniture and even had plenty of coat hangers. The air conditioning worked well too. The bathroom was a partial wet room and plenty of hot water. To our surprise we had maid service changing towels every day. The restaurant was buffet style for breakfast and evening meal. The food was plentiful, varied, fresh and lots of choice for all meals. The variety of both breakfast and evening meals changed daily. The hotel was a few minutes from the seafront being a couple of cross streets away. It was quiet as was the surrounding area. The pool area was fine and gave a pleasant area to have evening drinks prior to eating. All in all, a very impressive hotel for a three star rated one and yes, we would definitely stay there again. Our only comment is that it would be nice if guests dressed up for at least dinner but you cannot win them all.
