Stayed here for three nights, and overall it was decent. It was super crowded, which made for a lively atmosphere, but we had to queue just to get into breakfast, though the wait wasn't too long. The prices here are really high. A bottle of Coke Zero at the water park was 28, and a serving of Oden (6 skewers) was 48 (68 downstairs at the hotel). A single squid skewer was 48! At the Japanese restaurant downstairs, a bowl of Udon was 138 and a beef rice bowl was 168. We really should have taken a taxi to eat out, but we were just too lazy 😭. On the other hand, the room service food was delicious, and by comparison, it didn't seem so expensive. A set menu with four dishes (pictured in Figure 4) was 378. The worst experience here was the travel photography service (Fuyou Pai). The hotel offered five complimentary digital raw photos. First off, the photographer was probably in their forties or fifties, and had us pose in those old-fashioned studio styles from my childhood – and I couldn't refuse! 😭 The raw photos weren't even as good as what I could take with my phone, so I had no choice but to pay 100 for retouched versions. Then I ended up spending another 680 to buy 15 more retouched photos. That money was totally wasted. I've got a new goal for 2026: learn photography 📷. I thought the C Show performance was just okay, but the kids loved it and wanted to see it again 😓. Definitely get seats in the middle.

Our butler, Lulu, messaged us on WeChat beforehand to ask what we needed, and her replies were always super prompt – excellent service! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel pool water wasn't very clean; hope they can pay more attention to that in the future. Parking was quite tight, and breakfast wasn't really worth the price. At checkout, the doorman didn't help with our luggage, making the elderly guests carry their own bags to the car. This was the first time I've ever seen such service.

Five-star review! The free room upgrade at Sanya Tiancheng Hotel was such a delightful surprise ✨ Choosing Sanya Tiancheng Hotel for this trip to Sanya was definitely the right decision! I had only booked a basic sea-view room, but upon check-in, I was informed of a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. It was such a pleasant, unexpected bonus that truly made me happy and satisfied. The upgraded room was incredibly spacious and featured its own private ocean-view balcony. Opening the window revealed stunning panoramic views of the clear blue sea and the iconic Phoenix Island – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The room was impeccably clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. It even came equipped with a washing machine and refrigerator, which added to the convenience of the stay. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the city center. It's just a short walk to the beach, and shopping districts and food streets are all nearby, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly easy. Plus, there's free parking for those who drive. While it doesn't offer an excessive array of complex services, the core experience was truly excellent, and the room upgrade alone made it incredibly worthwhile – fantastic value for money! I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Sanya, and I've already recommended it to my friends~

Driving to Riyue Bay, staying at this hotel was super hassle-free. They have a parking lot and a shuttle service that takes you right to your room's building. It's only a few hundred meters from all the major surf clubs, which is really convenient after a surf session. Plus, there's a water park and a horse riding stable nearby, so there are plenty of options for activities and entertainment.

This stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, KK at the front desk greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm. She not only patiently answered all my questions but also proactively introduced the hotel's high-tech amenities, like the smart robot that effortlessly handles food orders, deliveries, and information inquiries – truly impressive technology! Even more surprising, there's a self-service washer and dryer right next to the room, with complimentary detergent provided. The entire wash and dry cycle only takes two hours, which is incredibly thoughtful for guests staying longer or needing frequent laundry. KK provided service with a constant smile throughout my stay, helping with my luggage upon check-in and even presenting a local specialty gift upon check-out. These small details really highlight their attentiveness. The hotel environment was clean and bright, and the drinks and meals delivered by the robot felt incredibly considerate. From the facilities to the service, every aspect showcased the hotel's professionalism and sincerity. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for efficiency combined with a personal touch!

This guesthouse is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous environment, probably the best in town. The room directly faces the azure sea, making it the closest I've ever stayed to the ocean. It's clean, with modern and complete facilities, and the service is warm and attentive. It's located in a very quiet part of Tianya Town, close to the hustle and bustle but still offering a private, tranquil escape – both convenient and relaxing. There are many charming coffee shops nearby where you could easily spend an entire day. It's also very close to the beach, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with kids. Plus, the guesthouse has its own beautiful pool that perfectly complements the blue sky and sea – so incredibly comfortable!

I've stayed here twice, and both times the front desk service during check-in was very poor. The executive lounge service was a hit or miss, and there was one female staff member whose attitude was exceptionally bad (I forgot her name, but everyone should avoid her). However, I must commend the housekeeping staff. They were incredibly meticulous, even helping me hang my freshly washed clothes on the balcony, carefully laying them out one by one with towels underneath. I was deeply touched. A special shout-out to Chen Shanghong; with such dedication, you're bound to succeed wherever you go! 👍

MGM was the most satisfying hotel of this trip. Every penny spent on the room felt like it was directly benefiting me, unlike other hotels that offer a bunch of activities I'd never use. MGM has an abundance of shows and water activities, many of which are free. Every day of our stay was filled with enjoying the hotel's offerings – it was incredibly fulfilling! Room: We stayed on the 9th floor, and there was absolutely no musty smell. The room was quite spacious and bright. The facilities showed minimal wear and tear, still looking relatively new. The floors and bathroom walls were stone, which prevented dust accumulation, and the overall space felt airy with good ventilation. Cleanliness: The cleaning was very thorough. One day, while I was in the room during cleaning, I told the staff member to just do a quick clean since we had a lot of items and clothes piled up. However, she still meticulously wiped down every single spot. She was incredibly polite and sincere while cleaning, wishing us a good time. I even made a point to check her name tag; it was Fu Shangyi. Service: I have to give a special shout-out to the baggage staff in the lobby. We arrived and checked in, then immediately rushed to a water activity class. After calling the concierge downstairs, our luggage was promptly delivered to our room, ensuring we didn't miss any of our class, even though the hotel was fully booked that day! The staff's efficiency was exceptional! Every single staff member at the hotel greeted us, making us feel very welcome! Everyone, regardless of their role, was diligent, responsible, and proactive in assisting guests. One day, I couldn't find my jacket after breakfast. I went back to the Pinju restaurant to look for it, but it wasn't there. The front desk staff meticulously took down all the details on paper, promising to help me find it and contact me. (Later, I found it myself elsewhere). Both hotel restaurants served excellent breakfast, and dining options around the hotel were also convenient, with a Baíhuāgǔ shopping center nearby. Food delivery was also quite fast. The 'MGM Live Pool Bar Cocktail Package' (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays) is absolutely fantastic! Try to catch a show if you can!

During breakfast at the Chinese restaurant, we had the pleasure of being served by a wonderfully attentive staff member, Ms. Xu Wenru. Her warm service made our entire dining experience exceptionally pleasant. As soon as we entered, she greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our table with great care. Throughout the meal, she promptly refilled our tea and water, keenly observing our needs. Noticing my fondness for the restaurant's chili sauce, she proactively brought an extra small dish of it to me, saying with a smile, ”It looks like you really enjoy this, so I've brought you a bit more for dipping.” This small gesture made us feel incredibly welcomed. Even more touching was when my mother and I were about to take a photo together with our phones. Ms. Xu Wenru immediately noticed our intention. She approached us and softly asked, ”Would you like me to take a picture for you?” After taking the phone, she not only patiently adjusted the angle but also thoughtfully reminded us to straighten our appearance. She took several continuous shots until we were satisfied. Her friendly smile throughout the process was truly refreshing. Throughout the entire breakfast, she maintained her full enthusiasm, being observant and diligent, and treated other guests with the same politeness and thoughtfulness. This genuine positive attitude and meticulous service awareness made us feel truly at home. Such a service experience went far beyond ordinary dining, allowing us to start our new day in a great mood. We sincerely thank Ms. Xu Wenru for her warm service, and we also thank the restaurant for fostering such an excellent employee!

Facilities: This five-star hotel boasts comprehensive and luxurious facilities. The large balcony with a bathtub, lounge chair, and table is a thoughtful touch. The linens are of excellent quality and very comfortable. However, the toiletries could use an upgrade. The breakfast buffet is rich, varied, and delicious, featuring Hainanese specialties. Dishes and drinks are replenished promptly, which is a big plus! 👍 Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy! 👍 Environment: Both the interior and exterior environments are excellent! It really has a holiday vibe. The hotel offers very convenient and close access to the beach and seawall, and it's clean and not crowded. Service: The front desk and housekeeping staff are well-trained. They actively greet guests and respond to guest requests promptly and proactively. A huge thumbs up! 👍

CChaseCaicaiThe Eagle's Nest, their top-selling room, is a must-try! We stayed in room 2001, and the view was incredible, right by the Heavenly Lake. You can even see the 'trial marriage' room (not a show flat) at 9999 from a distance. The room layout was exactly as pictured online. To sum up, the Swan Suite is the closest to the restaurant, so it's a quick walk to eat. The Cloud Roc suites are at the highest elevation, but they're guest rooms, so they're not as popular. Other room types are spread across different peaks. The hotel is 3km from Yalong Bay Night Market and Baihua Night Market. The Liupan Night Market at the foot of the mountain is also quite affordable. A big thank you to Manager Sun for specially arranging a fruit platter for us!

GGuest UserThe Grand Hotel was the first hotel we stayed at as a family, and it was a great choice. The location is lively, the price was right, and it even has a heated children's pool. The room wasn't small and had a bathtub. I knew the hotel was a bit older, but the service was exceptional. Before we even checked in, Gina from guest services added me on WeChat, asked about our needs, and even upgraded our room. Throughout our stay, any requests were handled promptly. We had a small hiccup on the first night, but it was resolved quickly, and they even extended our check-out and provided a hotel car to take us to our next accommodation. The room itself was also lovely. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in numerous luxury hotels for over 30 years and with a background in hotel management myself, this is the first time I've ever given a hotel a bad review! The reason for the low rating isn't the service; overall, the service was quite good. I'm especially grateful to the butler, who was always responsive and provided excellent service – 100 points for them. However, during my stay, I noticed a recurring issue: when you ask a passing hotel staff member for a small favor, like a pair of chopsticks or a plate change, they might be a middle manager who doesn't directly handle such tasks, or perhaps they're just passing by on their way to something else. They'd reply, 'Okay, just a moment,' and then walk off. Some would eventually return to fulfill the request, others would get busy and never come back. Honestly, a guest's request should simply be met with 'Okay!' and then completed within ten seconds, no 'just a moment' needed. Now, for the reasons behind the bad review, which I've been holding in for days: 1. The constant 'thump-thump-thump' of helicopters flying back and forth all day, ferrying guests. The noise was maddening. 2. The kids in the downstairs pool were noisy, and the hotel staff organizing their activities even wore megaphones, shouting constantly. 3. The newly built duty-free shop was right next door, adding construction noise and dust flying everywhere! 4. It's peak season, so I understand that rooms are in demand and upgrades aren't available. But after so many years of staying in hotels and being a member, they absolutely refused a 2 PM late checkout, insisting on 1 PM. 5. The breakfast was very mediocre, I don't know why it has so many good reviews. I've stayed at several hotels in Haitang Bay, and this breakfast was subpar. It was all chicken, no fish, no beef, no Hainanese green beans, and the same exact menu every day. 6. The buffet at the 'Skyline' restaurant was an absolute joke. The food was worse than street food. 7. The Häagen-Dazs afternoon dessert at the lobby bar was also a joke; it was unusually bad.

MM38484****The room layout was well-thought-out and convenient. The cleaning was thorough, with no corners missed. The service was excellent, especially our housekeeper Nicole, who provided daily, comprehensive reminders that were spot-on. Traveling with my child, we felt so much joy and security. We stayed for two days, and unexpectedly, Nicole even gave my child a small gift before we checked out. My child was thrilled! We're so grateful to Nicole for adding such a wonderful touch to our trip. The Xiangzhen Garden Party (featuring colorful go-karts, bouncy clouds, clown shows, touhu, archery, blindfolded gong hitting, fire dance performances, and bonfire interactions) was incredibly fun. My child absolutely loved it.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is indeed quite old; you can tell by the facilities and overall environment that it's dated. The front desk service was excellent, but the restaurant service was absolutely awful. The waitresses in the restaurant either couldn't understand what I was saying or deliberately ignored me. You'd ask a question, wait 10 seconds, and then they'd mumble a few words in a tiny voice. I didn't even need service, just a simple answer to my question.

GGuest UserOur first stop for the winter break trip to Sanya! Rose, our wonderful butler, added me on WeChat several days in advance, providing thoughtful and comprehensive service. When we got out of the car, the bellhop single-handedly took care of all four of our bags! He was so impressive carrying all of them. Initially, we thought about checking in at the lobby on the first floor, but there were quite a few people waiting. Rose suggested we go directly to the executive lounge on the 3rd floor instead. The lobby attendant kindly guided us to the elevator, which was very considerate! Once at the executive lounge, I handled the check-in while the seniors took the kids to get some water and fruit. The lady who checked us in was beautiful, kind, and had a lovely smile. The young photographer was also excellent at directing poses, and all the photos turned out great. Everyone was very professional and enthusiastic. In the end, Rose even arranged for a small tent to be set up in our room for the kids and helped us get a late check-out until 1 PM. Oh, and the scenery outside the hotel is absolutely stunning – I even saw the sunrise in the morning! I feel it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay for more days next time!

GGuest UserI booked the room through Trip.com, and as a Platinum member, I didn't get any member benefits. The service staff I encountered earlier were all very indifferent until the butler Didan showed up, and then I finally experienced the Marriott quality (FYI: Didan is a girl 😂). When I checked in, I reserved dinner for the next day, but when we arrived, there was no record of our reservation, which meant we couldn't get our preferred seating. Didan helped us try to coordinate a table change, but we had to leave soon so we didn't end up switching. The front desk didn't offer any explanation either. Breakfast butler Allen provided excellent service during breakfast; he noticed our baby wasn't eating well and even offered to pack some bread for the baby to take with us when we checked out.
