We enjoy staying at willow river most of the time it’s our go to hotel of choice, but this last visit we noticed they have a huge spider problem, they honestly need to spray, the balcony was really bad, my mother in law had her own room 118 she stated she wanted to sit and enjoy the river view but the spiders were bad as well, we ended up having to switch hotels due to the price hike, which we were bummed about but that’s how it goes around here, we found a hotel down the way that was nice with a better price, I was a bit shocked at the price jump $250 a night vs $128 a night. I know it was Friday night but that was really huge price hike. The other issue was the language barrier The maid couldn’t understand we needed fresh towels, she only gave us hand towels I ended up going to the front desk I asked for 5 towels because we had 5 people staying in our room, she said she could only give us 4 towels, I was like okay. Did they just not have enough towels or is that a policy I was unsure.

The hotel was attractive, clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast not as good as some but workable. Only negative which worked out involved my being charged automatically for use of a room safe which I did not use. I told this to front desk on check-out, and they credited me the small fee. I was told check in person should have asked me if I wanted room safe use. Suggest if you do not want to use room safe to verbally share that on frontend at check-in.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff we stayed April 21 to April 26th we visited from Toronto Canada . This place was clean we had a beautiful view of the mountains and river. Great home base to visit attractions :) Also to start your day off a great breakfast which a few items changed from day to day. 100 percent would definitely visit this wonderful hotel again if in the area

Everything was great except the WIFI connection. It was horrible... I would say it might have been because it was PACKED with travelers the entire time we were there so maybe not strong enough to handle the packed hotel. The breakfast was amazing every morning. Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed this hotel. Everything was really clean. Spacious room. Had a balcony, but ours overlooked the roof, and the scenery wasn't that good, so we didn't use. The couch was terribly uncomfortable sitting. I even asked them if we could move to another room thinking we might get a better one. However, all of the rooms have these couches. I really liked the large room, and it served our purpose. We only stayed one night because we were checking into our cabin the next day. My husband liked the breakfast. If they would replace the couches, I would definitely stay again.

This property is always our first choice to stay in the Smokies. Fire place rooms with jacuzzi and king bed is so fun for a long weekend getaway. Breakfast area very warm and Inviting. Each table had an Easter decoration. Breakfast was extra nice as Elijah was helping his Aunt keep the area neat and tidy. He cleaned all the tables and kept the beverage area nice. This young man was very polite and personable. Beds are very comfy for a wonderful night sleep. Balconies let fresh mountain air in to add to a relaxing weekend. Overall great experience.

It was a spur of the moment trip to watch our granddaughter play in a volleyball tournament. It was very clean, breakfast was great, everyone was friendly. We would definitely stay again! Since it was just a one night trip, we didn’t get to enjoy the chairs on the balcony!

We were delighted with this hotel....especially after a bad experience at a Comfort Inn. The rooms were clean, spacious. The beds weren't that comfortable to me but I have back problems. The staff was friendly and helpful. The brkfst buffet had a large selection. The lobby had 24 hr coffee and hot apple cider was a nice touch. Will stay here again if every in this area.

It has been a few years since we have stayed at the ‘Willow’ we are wanting to come visit with your Hotel again very soon!! We loved our visit there & it’s a Gorgeous Hotel!! I have a couple of ? If the Mgr could answer for me. As I went through some reviews… I was seeing that the Front Desk was not very Friendly & hoping that this attitude has definitely changed. The other question I seen was the cleanliness? When was the last update with the Hotel? In no way am I wanting to be negative in any way. These 2 questions are just very important to us when making decisions on a stay! Hoping the bad reviews were from folks that if you handed them gold on a plate they would find something wrong!!! Thank You for your time!!!
