Facilities: Everything else is good, except that there is no mouthwash cup, only paper cups, which become soft after a few soaks. When I stayed there, I used the mineral water provided to brush my teeth. Hygiene: Very good, cleaned every day Environment: To be honest, it feels like entering a maze. It is really scary if you live alone. The sound insulation is poor. However, there are many surveillance cameras at the front desk, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. If you have any questions, just call at any time. Service: Because the sound insulation is very poor, I thought someone knocked on my door in the room. I called the front desk to give feedback and asked her to come up and take a look. She told me that the person was not knocking on my door but his own door, and the voice was very loud, but I was still very scared. In addition to the above-mentioned minor incidents, the overall experience of the three days and two nights is still good. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The Wukang Building is downstairs. Don't live here alone (personal opinion only)

The front desk staff were friendly and kind. My room had a window facing a wall of the building next door, which isn't pleasant for a one-week stay but I wasn't there too often. The cleaning staff were also friendly and attentive and the room was cleaned daily. The big and soft butterscotch cat is a great addition to any hotel and the cafe out front is very popular. The setting overall is lovely. I didn't eat at the hotel but there are several cafes and restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood is great for exploring on foot or by bicycle.

I used to live near Xing Guo hotel before I moved overseas. This hotel was actually my dream hotel when I was a teenager. And finally, I got the chance to stay here! 😆 Absolutely amazing hotel! Very well maintained. Hotel room is beautifully designed. I really loved the decor. Service is also on top! And the view of my old neighbourhood is stunning as always. ✌🏼 My friend also enjoyed the stay and surroundings. Overall, this hotel is far beyond my expectation.

I needed a one night stay before I headed back to Suzhou and this hotel was exactly that. Very convenient, easy check-in, and the bed was comfortable. The heated toilet seat was a huge plus!! I did not hear any of my neighbors. I would recommend this hotel if it fits within where you’re visiting in Shanghai.

It's our 1st time staying in Seclusive, and we chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here (we're from Singapore). In our 6 days trip in Shanghai, this is the 3rd hotel we've stayed for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms - a suite and a king-sized bedroom. Talk about the downside first. The suite (on the 2nd floor) is spacious with a terrace, however the king-sized bedroom (on the ground floor) was extremely small, it will not be suitable if you're a 6 footer at all (you'd probably be knocking your knee to alot of things). Since it is an old structured building, the sewerage system is no good (toilets in both our rooms were choked and needed attention). The staircase to the level 2 was really steep with uneven carpet. They should also plan to hire more (& younger) housekeeping staff as cleaning up the rooms takes longer than expected, we waited on the day of check-in as well as when we were out for lunch (2 hours). Now on the good things! Location is great as it is walking distance to alot of shops, cafes, restaurants. We reckon that this is a 'hot' and 'social influencer' locality with lotsa crowd taking photos and vids. What made the stay MOST PLEASANT and MEMORABLE is the staff named Ace, true to his name - he was truly a superstar with top-notch service and attitude, the type you'd think never exist in this world! From settling the laundry (with an external vendor), booking cars, restaurants reservations, birthday-surprise decor to the room, all coordination with external vendors and many more! Last but not least - with a bright smile at all times! If at all we decide to be back, its only because of Ace!

I went to Shanghai for the first time, and Ctrip chose this one after seeing it for a while. The subway is convenient. The rooms are really value-for-money, fully intelligent, and the large TV sets have great visual effects. The air conditioner and hot water are completely fine. The hotel is cost-effective, with unlimited three bottles of Baisui Mountain, as well as Sprite, Coke, Fanta, and free drinks. The two types of pillows are very comfortable to sleep, and they are really highly recommended. In the later period, if you go to other cities, you will have the priority to choose autumn fruits. I hope that all cities have this quality. Stayed for two days, it's great and I like it. Hotel is well located and the service staff are excellent. Worth mentioning is the pillows and bed provided are very comfortable for sleeping.

Nearby are Jiaotong University, Soong Ching Ling Museum, and Wukang Building. It is very close to the subway station and has convenient transportation. It is easy to transfer to the subway. There is a convenience store and a place to eat downstairs, which is very convenient. The disadvantage is that there will be subway sounds. If you have poor sleep quality, please be careful. I didn't feel it at all.

This was a great find. We stayed here with two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. Mostly we were impressed with the service and how quick the owner was to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the area and the 10 min walk to the subway passed a few good eateries though it was a little outside downtown. Warning! Don't try to take a cab during rush hour. Take the subway or walk it! Would definitely stay here again.
