Shanghai Hotels with Gym

Had a great stay here with my 79 year old dad who was visiting from the US. The check in process was easy and the staff were accommodating. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had soap, lotion, shampoo, etc, containers. There was a full soaking tub and separate shower. I was pleased with the shower mat that could be used in the shower. The material and absorbancy of the towels were great. My dad was very pleased with the comfort of the bed after such a long flight, as was I. Likewise, he was exceptionally pleased with the buffet breakfast as there were many delicious options, mostly Chinese style, but plentiful and again delicious. Though, there is a lot to see just outside the door, we didn't explore as we were only there for one night. I highly recommend staying at this Crowne Plaza location as I would stay again. Also, just a short walk to the People's Corner metro stop.

Hotel has an excellent location for business travellers and also suitable for tourist because it is easy to reach all the scenic spots by walk or subway. The hotel towers are like a maze easy to get lost especially when looking for breakfast. The UFO restaurant is really nice and the skydome bar has some good cocktails.

Hotel was centrally located and very near the subway as well as the Nanjing Pedestrian street. Breakfast variety was good as well with a mix of Western and Chinese cuisine. Main gripe was that the front desk seem to be always understaffed and took quite some time for check-in

The location of the property is excellent for me. I love the huge piece of land surrounding the hotel. The property itself is a bit dated but still pretty well maintained. Staff is courteous and pretty efficient. I did not eat in the hotel this time nor use any facility so no comment on them.

Enjoyed the stay at Pullman Jing’an. The location is great, it’s five minutes walk to the Shanghai Railway subway station on Line 1 - just two stops from the famous People’s Square. Easy to take the subway to many attractions. The service at the reception is friendly , English is spoken. The room is compact and might not have enough space if you have many pieces of luggage. It was fine for 1 piece of luggage and 1 medium size luggage. Bed is and pillows are very comfortable.

They are renovating floors 16-25. So there is noise beginning at 9am. Should be done Aug or Sept 2024. There is laundry in each room, but they limit occupancy to 2 per room, so if you have kids you need to get 2 rooms. The Deco rooms are renovated and nice. It is 10 minute walk to Nanjing Xi Lu. Easy access to Metro (about 15 min walk) People's Square Metro line 8 and 1. Very close to natural History museum if you have younger kids under 11 or so they will like the dinosaurs. Coffee is nearby, but Google Maps has wrong places - many coffee shops went out of business and there are new ones. A/C works very well - really cool. Elevator has air conditioning which sounds like nothing important but you notice it after being in Shanghai for 2 weeks. Front-desk tries to be helpful but not great English. Right next door is Dominos Pizza! Rooms Deluxe are good, the other rooms even with kitchen are VERY small. The views under level 20 are not good.

Lovely 5star hotel at a reasonable price. The room is huge,almost like a studio apartment. The hotel also provided free drinks and fruits from the room which is a pleasant surprise. Lynn the hotel receptionist provided excellent and seamless experience.

Front of house and breakfast staff are extremely good with service and being helpful. Even the cleaning staff will greet you. Located close to the bund and is linked to the Bund center. The room itself was too hot and the airconditioning did not seem to help. Sheets were a little dusty as well. For quick, convenient trips it is a good option.

The hotel is very well located in the hearth of the Shangai city center. The room was cleaned, with all the necessary amenities. The personnel was kind and available to questions (at the reception everybody spoke English). They gave us a room on the 25th floor with an astonishing view of the Bund. Sincerely, nothing to complain. 5/5 stars.

We have used this hotel many times and always enjoy the location and comfort. However, this time I was rudely told to pay deposit which I have never been asked for before (we prepaid) after some arguing he said he wouldn’t ask for one. The second problem was being told I would need to wait 90 minutes to check into my room even though I arrived at the check in time of 3pm. After some further arguing he eventually gave me room I could check into straight away. He gave me the cards and was clearly sulking. Not the service I expect from this hotel
