The location was great. The Suzhou River flowing near the hotel reminds me of the Seine River in Paris. It was nice to walk along the river, and I could see the Oriental Pearl Tower up close every morning. There are many places to visit around the area, such as the North Bund and the Rock Bund, and it was nice to just walk around with my phone even late at night or early in the morning. If you walk a little further, you can easily find Nanjindonglu and the Bund. I walked to Nanjindonglu after dinner to help digestion. It would be good to take a shortcut. You can also ride a bike. The water pressure inside the room was not weak, and the heating was good. The room seemed a little small, but there was a table big enough to open a laptop, and there was a pretty single-person sofa. The window opened, so it was good for ventilation. I think the interior design was my personal taste, so I liked it even more. I booked a 4-night stay, but I only had breakfast for 2 nights. There weren't many breakfast options. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was good. I also liked the consideration given to guests, such as having warm tea in the lobby. The only regret is that there is no humidifier. I would like to stay here again next time. I think I will remember Shanghai with good memories because of the accommodation.

My first trip to Shanghai and I can say this hotel is one of the best amongst the other 3 hotels I stayed during my trip to China last month. It was the only hotel where the staffs speak English. Service was excellent, clean and comfy bedroom (bathroom has bidet). Breakfast has limited selection but nice and good quality. Accidentally left my phone in the room during checked out but the staff kept it for me and I got it back upon returned to Shanghai, thank you very much really appreciate it!
