We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, always even greeting us at the door, opening doors and checking cars for belongings left behind after long shopping trips. The hotel has a beautiful, luxurious atmosphere, with excellent facilities including a very well-equipped gym and separate men’s and women’s sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool and hot tub. There is also an onsite spa opened till 2am! The ‘This Works’ bathroom toiletries in the rooms were a lovely touch and smelled wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive selection and freshly prepared omelettes, steamed buns and pancakes. The English-speaking staff were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay and provided great recommendations of places to see and where to eat close by. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Nanjing Road and the Bund. Overall, a beautifully presented hotel with genuinely excellent service — we would happily stay here again and am glad we chose to stay here as there are an overwhelming amount of choices available but we feel we made a great choice!

The location is superb, right by the riverside promenade. In the evening, a stroll offers a stunning view of Yangpu Bridge. The river view room boasts an expansive vista, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Huangpu River. Waking up to that view in the morning instantly boosts your mood. The service is attentive and the overall quality is excellent, making it perfect for both business trips and weekend getaways!

Absolutely a perfect stay! The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. I loved having a bathtub, and all the amenities felt high-quality. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the gym facilities were top-notch. Definitely worth another visit!

The front desk staff, Yuki, was not only handsome and composed but also incredibly responsible. He went above and beyond to help me with various travel issues, making my airport transfer completely hassle-free and convenient. I originally booked this place because of the convenient airport transfer service, but I was pleasantly surprised when Yuki even thoughtfully helped carry my luggage to the room. His service was meticulous and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.

This Marriott has an excellent location, and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly, especially Tina at the front desk who arranged a great room for me. The breakfast on the second floor is also plentiful with a wide variety of options. Eric from the restaurant was also very kind, proactively asking if I needed any help. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.

The Marriott Hotel, located right next to the impressive G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor, is another luxury five-star hotel in Songjiang. Having opened just over three months ago, I decided to experience it during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The check-in experience at the front desk was excellent; Manager Yang, wearing glasses, was very polite and patient, providing a great overview of the hotel. Lunch at the hotel's Chinese restaurant included a complimentary fresh meat mooncake, which was nice, though the other dishes were uninspired and ordinary. In the afternoon, while heading out, I encountered a stray dog squatting by the hotel entrance, which was a bit scary and frightening. Our twin room was by the road, and the noise from ongoing renovations was disruptive. The breakfast selection was simple, and the tables were incredibly dirty. The management definitely needs to improve their service awareness. Also, there was no spin dryer available for swimwear. Later in the evening, when I went to the front desk to inquire about museum tickets, the female receptionist was quite unhelpful.

The hotel has a pool, and it's not crowded, which is very convenient. The facilities are quite new, and the hygiene is acceptable. The environment is also satisfactory. It's suitable for business travel. The room has a bathtub, but they don't provide disposable bath liners. I tried to extend my check-out time a bit, and while the front desk wasn't as accommodating as some other hotels, overall it was okay. It's a bit dry this season, and I'm feeling a bit under the weather. The soundproofing is so-so, but I was still pretty happy with my stay. Overall, a good review.
