Very good stay, this was a gem! Place is very clean and was the most comfortable stay out of the entire trip. The people at this minsu are very welcoming and kind and helpful to us. Will visit again on my next trip here.

We had a very wonderful stay here especially that the staff here are friendly and welcoming when we touched in the hotel. There are no lifts but they will go the way to help us carry our luggage’s up. Plus plus point is that there are washer and steamer to wash and dry our clothes here, especially since the weather mood swings too much we needed to wash our wet clothes. Location wise is about 10 mins walk away from old ancient city, not a big issue for us. Highly recommend!

Room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast included freshly prepared rice noodles, but was overall quite average in terms of quality and spread. The staff made a friendly impression.

This is one of those cases where they clearly tried to do more then what they knew... Let's start by the positives: it's a nicely looking hotel, with a pleasant design and good looking rooms. The rooms are well equipped for comfort but comfort I didn't have.... Several things didn't work as they should: first the toilet was one of those automatic toilets that are now everywhere in mid range hotels in China, but this one would just flush all the time as soon as you got near to it. And the flush was too strong so some water would sprinkle out, which is annoying if it's dirty water... The bed mattress was heated quite strongly (which was not necessary because the room had floor heating) so we tried everything to turn it off without success. We really tried everything.. We were sweating so much that we even decided to remove the room card from the card holder to unpower everything... But believe it or not, it didn't work... another annoying thing is that the shower had no separation to the toilet. So when you shower, you wet the toilet and the floor all around the toilet so every time you go to the toilet you get wet feet, and then when you step with wet feet on the room floor you get dirty feet as the room floor was not perfectly clean. Btw the room floor was also a bit uneven which seem to be an effect of the floor heating which was a bit too strong in some points. Ah, also the TV didn't work which they offered to fix but I declined. All of these are minor, but I would prefer not to have these extra 'conforts' if they don't work properly. Otherwise the service was good, they tried to be helpful and the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood.

On this trip to Shangri-La, there were both elders and children, so I was worried about the altitude of the ancient city of Dukezong! I saw this hotel by chance and the reviews were very good! After booking the hotel, I contacted the staff member Xiao Bu immediately. After getting a positive answer, I purchased an oxygen pillow and sent it to the hotel in advance! Because the hotel has a pick-up and drop-off service, (I have to say that the bus is pretty good), we contacted the arrival time in advance before arriving at Shangri-La Station, and we were sent to the hotel safely! After arriving at the hotel, because the altitude had increased, the staff helped deliver the luggage to the room. At the same time, the oxygen concentrator was also delivered to the hotel as soon as possible (the oxygen tubes of the oxygen concentrator were all new, so let’s just say it’s not good). Damn, it’s really spot on) The hotel also thoughtfully provided afternoon tea to prevent high altitude sickness. The quality was very good. Thank you very much! On the return trip, because we had booked train tickets back to Kunming at 7 o'clock, Xiaobu had to arrange to send us off at 6 o'clock, and he was obliged to do so! What did you say? I am very satisfied with the service and environment of this inn. The owner is very enthusiastic and responsive to all requests. The hygiene is very good. The room is cleaned regularly every day. I am very satisfied with my stay. There is also floor heating and oxygen breathing. It is really thoughtful.

The room was very nice and spacious. The guy was very enthusiastic and would take the initiative to help carry the suitcases. He could also pick up and drop off at the high-speed rail station. Breakfast was very convenient downstairs. My friend and I had altitude sickness in the middle of the night and the oxygen concentrator was delivered immediately. The location was also good and it was very convenient to go anywhere. I would choose this hotel again next time.
