The host is nice. The hotel is very basic. Soundproof system is not as good because theres alot of different noises coming from the streets and corridor and upstairs. The location is up on the hill, which is abit difficult to climb at high altitude.

The room was so clean when I stayed there and the owner she took care of us very good. And also if who comes to stay at here I would like to recommend her homemade hotpot. All ingredients selected by her and taste was so wonderful beef flavor full on my mouth. You must try!!!!!!!

Clean room decorated in ******* style, which is very nice. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and informative. She recommended attractions, restaurants and even called taxi for us which is very convenient. Overall we are very impressed.

One of the Best guesthouse we have been so far in China. It's a typical ******* room and we have been upgrade for free with an amazing room. We even had a heater wich was a first in China. Also, the reception's woman is just AMAZING!! She speaks a perfect english, helped us a lot to plan our trip, recommended us various activities and even booked a ride for us. You must go there while you stay in Shangri-La!

I had a great stay! The highlight for me was the heated bed so I slept well! Claudia help me with everything I need during my stay in Shangri-La. They picked me up and help me with my bags. Though there were some issues with the hotel that’s out of the hotels’ control they made sure that I have a great stay.

The best stay ever! Not only the hotel is clean and located in peaceful area(but the very close to the center), but also the owner is the coolest woman with great hospitality and great mind I’ve ever met. She kindly took me to local places, recommended some good hiking routes, even prepared for breakfast and snacks! Her story was truly inspiring and it’s the voice to be heard. She speaks good English and helped me a lot to understand the region and ******* culture. I strongly recommend this hotel and do hope that many people have a chance to be part of the community she is cultivating!

Stayed for two nights, the boss was very nice, actively solved the problem, and made very friendly recommendations for places to visit. The whole courtyard is very *******, and I got a lot of insights from chatting with the boss. I will stay here again next time I come to Shangri-La😘

Due to the time problem of flight and high-speed rail, it was late at night when we arrived at the inn. The weather was cold, but the boss still helped me carry the suitcase into the room. The room was clean and tidy. The boss patiently introduced me to nearby attractions and sent me a lot of precautions on WeChat. There is nothing to say about Kuozhe Inn except one word "good". The boss directly upgraded the basic room to the largest king-size bed room. The room is clean and sanitary, with electric blankets and radiators. The yak bait blocks made by the boss for breakfast taste like pizza, and the pig intestines are delicious😋 The yak hot pot for dinner is also more authentic than outside, and the price-performance ratio is very high. You can also share meals with the boss's volunteers, which is also great. The boss will give various travel suggestions and plans, and will also help solve various problems. Here I would like to specially mention the Wushi Photography Studio recommended by the boss. The photographer is really great and the price-performance ratio is also very high. I almost missed the agreed time when I went to take pictures. When the boss knew it, he immediately put down his chopsticks and rode an electric bike to take me to the place where I took pictures. It was very heartwarming. I only booked one night, and then I stayed for 5 days until I was about to leave. I will come to Shangri-La again in the future, haha😄

It is very convenient to go to several attractions in the ancient city and walk in the ancient city. The inn is not big. The old house has been renovated with great charm. What a perfect inn! The room was nice and tidy with complete facilities and a beautiful rooftop balcony. The location of the inn is convenient and not noisy. The boss is nice and chill. He gives a lot of suggestions on travel and food, etc. and takes great care of the guests. If you can bring your own towels and toothbrushes without being asked to provide them, you can also get a piece of handmade yak milk soap as an environmental reward. All in all perfect!
