Perfect stay, staff is super friendly, delicious breakfast… on top of that the building itself is build in traditional and beautiful style. The owner showed us around the old city and took us to the dancing on the square.

Most unique hotel you’ll find in Shangrila in my opinion. Staff was so friendly and breakfast was delicious. Will come again some day

The restaurant was not open which was annoying. Even though the breakfast was free, there was a god reason for that as you’ll see in the picture. Staff were nice and helpful.

Positives: very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Decent location (5 mins walk into centre of ancient town. Negatives: a bit soulless; very noisy wooden staircases at night/early morning and limited/uninspiring breakfast.

Environment: I couldn't find the hotel at first, there were two names, (the surrounding road conditions were poor and super congested), the room was upgraded, the room was quite large, Tibetan-style building, wooden structure, stairs and no elevator; there were few lights and lighting It's hazy (you can't really see the makeup). Hygiene: The hygiene in the room is okay, but the breakfast is not fresh. Service: I really didn’t want to talk about the service. There was no welcome fruit and only one pair of toothbrushes (there were three pairs of combs on the sink). The front desk person was not there when I went downstairs. Even if I thought about it, I would go to bed early and call me at one o’clock in the afternoon. The call asked me to check out quickly. Are there any guests who want to check in? ? ? I was speechless. I said that the reservation on Ctrip showed that it was for 3 pm, so I didn’t care. I was really hehe. I rushed back from the scenic spot, checked out and called the front desk. The hotel provided free breakfast. The room was large and the view was great. Picture 6 is the night view taken in the room at night. The lady and aunt at the front desk were very enthusiastic. They turned on the floor heating for us before we even arrived at the hotel and took special care of us. Things to note when staying at high altitude, but I still have some symptoms of high altitude sickness. There is no elevator in the hotel, so climbing the stairs is slow. Before booking, I thought Tianyu was a chain with the family hotel in Hainan, but it turned out not to be the case. I made a mistake. I booked it at the same time, but I didn’t expect it to be pretty good. If I didn’t have a high-definition camera, I could spend two more days in Shangri-La.

A very good hotel. We checked out at noon and booked a room directly back at night. We repurchased it on the same day.
